I thought that it’s about time I tried to post a pic…
Arthur – thanks for the info.

Moggy,
What kit did you use for that photo – clarity is excellent – and how do you post photos retaining that sharpness?
Cheers
CargoM
Snapper – nice pics. Can you tell me what compression etc is used to upload images. I just put an F102 on another thread and the image was:- 1) Big and 2) much poorer quality than I view it on my screen. Your photos look immaculate!

Woops – next time I’ll make it smaller if someone can tell me how!!
Still struggling to get to grips with the technology! Should I just compress the image more?
CargoM:confused:
I hope this attaches itself! This was taken by my father at Wethersfield in about 1963 – which is pretty much where it all began for me.
Any info that anyone can tell me about this – eg unit/base – would be appreciated.
TIA

I enjoyed the day out and it was a good opportunity to test out my new 10D.
However, there were not that many aircraft there, and nothing much more than the “usual” Duxford participants – (the organisers were clearly aware of this as they charged only £1 to walk along the flightline during the morning instaed of about £3 at FL) – and at £18 to get in. It also seemed that the admission/car parking was organised by the Muppets. It took far too long to get through the paybooths. I hope they have a rethink before FL.
Moan over. It was an enjoyable day out and served a useful purpose for me – my 170-500 was returned from Sigma after its rechip on Saturday morning! (Snapper – it took them about 2 weeks)

Philo,
ermmm…..It’s a proper digital camera!! Canon 10D. Or at least I hope its a proper camera – should be for the money! The few test photos I’ve taken so far look promising…. which is more than can be said for the weather outlook (as far as Friday) at the moment.
What kit are you trying out?
Cargomaster
As long as the weathers ok, I’ll go to Duxford. It’s not toofar for me, and I always enjoy the atmosphere there.
I also have a new camera that I want to try out, and should I mess it up there’s not likely to be much that I haven’t seen before.
