I’m not entirely sure what range of zoom you’re looking for but I’m very pleased with the Canon 17-85 IS.

Legends is so wonderful because it’s a blo*dy good day out!!! This year particularly so – even though the weather was awful for the first half of Saturday.

On the contrary. FL2005 should start with a minutes silence and then commemorate the events of today and sixty years ago. Britain should demonstrate it has lost none of its resolve to stand firm in the face of severe adversity.

Many years ago I came across his grave in a small Wargraves Commission cemetery somewhere in France. It must have been some 30 years ago. Does anyone know where this would have been? I did take a photo at the time but don’t know where that might be now.

Keep up the pressure ladies and gents. I emailed my MP last week and he’s replied to say he’s written to the Transport Secretary. He’ll let me know when he gets a reply, and in the unlikely event that the secretary says anything useful I’ll let you know.

Blair’s “rant” yesterday about EU regulation just may indicate that this issue (along with doubtless many others) is reaching those who may have the will to do something about it. And if the French do say “Non” at le weekend, who knows…..

Great photos – especially considering the conditions.
BTW, what is the twin engined aircraft with the twin tail ? (Apologies for ignorance)

A superb collection of photos of what is, probably, my favourite aircraft of all time. A stunning, earth-moving (literally!), aeroplane. Very much missed.

My guess, FWIW, is that they turn the napoleonic blind eye to this EU bureaucratic clap trap. Most of Europe seem to pick and choose which bits of the Brussels outpourings they chose to comply with, and ignore the rest.

That said, I really would like to know how they’ve overcome the problem

With the right (expensive) stuff – fluid and swabs – available from Warehouse Express -cleaning the sensor is something you can do for yourself. In fear and trepidation I’ve cleaned mine two or three times. I don’t enjoy doing it, but it does take only a couple of minutes. I’m sure those more technically inclined than me can offer more useful advice.
