Anybody mentioned the Il-40?
Does anybody has any pictures of the MIG-29 in service with SUDAN or YEMEN?
There’s plenty of them on the internet, even in this thread.
You just need to search.

Without any single loss in the past 20 years, today RTAF operates 59 F-16 in 3 squadrons.
Not exactly. Two accidents, one write-off.

My point is a polite (if not subtle) reminder that the US buys a fair amount of European hardware.
One of the reasons why US buys items from Europe is that the US compnies are sometimes unable or unwilling to develop a certain product.
Some of the european designed aircraft in US service simply did not had a US counterpart in the same class at the time they were aquired.
A few examples:
Harrier
T-45 (navalized Hawk)
T-6A Texan II (aka PC-9)
C-27
UH-72 Lakota (EC-145)

Another interesting find, two KJ-2000 AWACS at Dingxin
I think they were used with actual real systems – Tolicha Peaks not a bombing range is it? /unsure/
Indeed, but there is a large bombing range to the north-west, with two fake (target) airfields, that’s where the two sites are located. If you take a close look at them, you can see lots of impact points.

At first glance, i thought it was from Zimbabwe 🙂
I like it. Now if only they painted a Eurofighter with the scheme of the old WWII Typhoon 😉
The 5 MIG-29 fighters have been in the arsenal of Yugoslavian AF whose aircraft park numbered 30 airplanes of the type. But in the course of military operations carried out by NATO the most of the Yugoslavian aircraft were destroyed.

They only had 16 Fulcrums, not 30.
