How many do they have? And where are they comming from?
They had 4 examples serialled 1284>1287 delivered in June 1985 (I suppose new) and sold to civilian customers in the US in April 1990

Could Iran sucessfully attack Israel by air?
What ac would be used?
Su-24s flying at low level on the ingress route over Iraqi Kurdistan and Syria would make it. Time their arrival on target with a shower of ballistic missiles and a number of Hezbollah/IRGC commandos infiltrating from southern Lebanon, yes it could be a strong first strike.
That picture of the RSAF Hunter is also interesting in that it boasts a whopping four AIM-9’s! There are also a pair of what appear to be Mk-82’s on the centerline hardpoint!
But bear in mind that this is a museum bird, therefore it’s possible that this was never an operationl loadout.
Here’s a close-up of the bomb rack:
Tanzania is reported to have purchased some ex-Iraqi Mig-21s that fled to Iran during Gulf War I
None of the Iraqi MiG-21 fled to Iran.
Also, within the past couple years FT-5s (and possibly F6s) have been seen at parades/airshows in Tanzania.
Positive on the F-6.
Unmarked MiG-23 UB
I found this strange bird on Airliners.net. The picture was taken in Belarus, in Sept. 1994
Could it be destined for some african country? The camo is really weird for Europe, and it has no roundels, whereas the other MLDs parked besides it have the red star.
Unfortunatly, I don’t know the language (I suppose it’s Czech or Slovak) 🙁
If you have the time to translate just the essentials about the Avia S-102/CS-102 compared to the Soviet models, it would be great.
I havent seen a pic with Sidewinders loaded on the innermost pylons.
Oman
Singapore
So the one above is an ex-UAE machine repainted and the lower one is an older one? Because i thought that the ones delivered recently were not HOT-capable.
Are any of the older, HOT-equipped Gazelles still flying?

I wonder who this “Glyn” character is?
Yeah, me too. Especially since the “Glyn” on this forum stated here some years back that his father was an agressor pilot in the late 70’s – early80’s.
I’m also wondering from where did the “Glyn” from the ARC forum get that grey MiG-23 picture, since it hadn’t been posted on the link about the upcoming book regarding Constant Peg. 😉

Crap!
This morning there wer 54 imags on that webpage, just like the ones above
Now, some hours later, there’s only 39 of them, in lower quality (very grainy) and with some writing across.
Of course i was stupid enough not to save any of them – I had to go somewhere and i thought there’s enough time in the evening 🙁
PLEASE, IF SOMEBODY SAVED THOSE PICTURES IN THEIR ORIGINAL FORM< POST THEM HERE OR AT LEAST PM ME.
Yeah, there’s more of them here: 🙂

One thing puzzles me: why there are no MiG-21 MF ?
According to ACIG, some MFs arrived from Egypt together with the Mig-23 MS, but all we get to see are a lot of F-7s and Mig-21 F-13s
