Sad to see another hangar being demolished.
If I ask very nicely, could you keep the Airfield Information Exchange forum updated as well please?
thanks
There are a few fuel bowser pictures on AiX here;

Try the AIX forum as well, I know one or two on there will definately be able to help out with the history of Bovingdon.
I would also agree with Martlesham Heath – thanks to bazv for putting a link up to my site as well!

There are a couple of BCATP airfields on the Overseas Airfields section. If it isn’t of use then it may be worth asking there as well, I know a few of the guys are from Canada so they may be able to help.
Probably a silly question but will we see a complete Hampden on display soon then?
Where is the aircraft in the photos above now?
I remember when I was a cadet in the early 1990’s there was a Jet Provost cockpit at 2530 (Uckfield) Sqn ATC in Sussex. I don’t know where it is now though, can anyone help?

The book you mention is long out of print but I managed to track down a copy and photocopy it, along with the Suffolk Memorials book, also by Huby Fairhead.
Are there any more memorials that are new (dedicated in the past 15 years) or little known ones, plaques, benches etc.
Thanks again for everyones help
Richard
This is one I took today at Mautby Church in Norfolk.

Thanks for posting the Docking photo, I saw this memorial earlier this year and photographed it then, it was raining at the time so I need to go back there!
