Thats a nice photo, thanks for posting it.

Getting spoilt in this part of the world now, Mustang (soon to be two), Harvard and various Stearmans – and now a Spitfire to name a few. Who needs Duxford this summer!!!!
It was “the Grace Spitfire” ML407, it was its official arrival at Bentwaters today where it is now based. I was told she did a display to some school kids on arrival before landing.
Great to see a based aircraft now at Bentwaters.

its like an episope of Dads Army this, you can imagine Jones running around somewhere in felixstowe stouting “Don’t Panic”!!!!!
Thanks Peter, it seems to have caused a bit of interest already!
Which gannet would that be then? I didn’t think there were any flying at the moment.
Sounds like a good day, shame its a little to far for me to travel but the sight of a Mig 17 would be superb.
Richard
I believe they are original runway lights.
Thats a nice looking memorial, I photographed the old memorial before.
Nice meeting you earlier today as well.
Richard

I came across this on the web
http://www.babergh-south-suffolk.gov.uk/NR/rdonlyres/4A15B8FA-CA1C-4AED-B773-01B6F20C3EB5/0/airfields.pdf
It indicates that the area I was unsure of was defiantely the old USAAF hospital at Acton.
Can anyone help Identify the “Unknown” buildings? First 10 of my collection. I am still a bit stuck with them!
Richard
FAA gets my vote, even if I haven’t been for years. I really must get down there again soon.
Great shots, I can’t wait to see her fly this year.
