Hi Jerry, I have been meaning to photograph the memorial there except every time I drive past is is raining – much like when you were there!
I have added alot more memorial photos to my site over the past few months, if you are interested then have a look here http://www.airfields.fotopic.net/. I am always wanting to find new memorials in the Norfolk & Suffolk area so if anyone can point me in the direction of any I haven’t yet photographed then let me know.

Great set of photos, I’m liking the first two “C” photos of 84-027. Well done.
The Carvair Cockpit here in the UK is at Halesworth in Suffolk, or at least it was when I last visited. I’ll try to get over in the next couple weeks and see if it is still there. From what I have been told it is the ex Southend aircraft.
A couple of photos I took of it in June 2006 are here;

Hope this helps

Some really good photos there, I never new there was that much to see at Wellingore. One for me to go back to I think.
Its a great series, and he is a brilliant presenter – thankfully I recorded all but one episode when it was on first time round as I don’t get the discovery channel where I am now!
Incidently, I used to work with him at Astraeus and had the pleasure of flying with Bruce a few times (I was crew, not a pilot) and the way he is on the series is the way he is in really life, the sheer enthusiasm he has for aviation is amazing!
Some great photos there, well done to everyone involved.
A photo of the Beehive I took last year:

There is some real talent in the skies there, Girls, Aircraft and Weather. Oh and the photos aren’t bad either!!!!!
Great shots Gavin, love the 4th and 5th photos, looks at home above the water.
Thanks for the comments folks.
The 337 is one of my favourites as well, really pleased to have seen it now as I had not seen one before.
Great photos Gingie.
I have a feeling the tower here was turned into a house for a bit before it was left to fall into its current condition. Perhaps someone could correct me if I am wrong.
Richard
Hi Gingie
I guess you can add my name to the list as well, if thats ok?
Richard
Truely fantastic shots, I really must get myself up to Wales this year sometime.
G-VANA was there today but didn’t fly, for some reason I didn’t photograph it either! However I have photos of it from a previous visit. I gather from chatting to someone today, oddly enough he was called Keith as well, that there was two aircraft that came in this morning for the parachute club, then one of them departed fairly soon after arriving and they used G-CDYA today.
