have stars on the nose below the cockpits, are these “kill markings”? They are hard to see on the photos though!
It was a tour (about 40 people) set up by someone on another forum that I was fortunate enough to join. Really good day out, I gather there is an 18 month waiting list for these tours. There are a few of the older buildings around still but we were very restricted on what we could photograph, and no lenses bigger than 200mm!

Thanks for the comments everyone, I must admit the DC-3 photos is my favourite one of them all as well, I was quite pleased with the way it came out.
I tried the black & white effect at legends with a few of my photos and this one; http://www.richardflagg.fotopic.net/p43579319.html of the Skyraider I thought looked really good.

Who operates the Mitchell in the UK?? I didn’t realise there was one in the UK.
Am I understanding it that there is a Mosquito under re-build to fly in this country???
Beaufighter, well that will probably not see much sky in this country if the rumours of it going to Australia are true, any more news on this? Whats the current state of play with it?
Can’t wait to se the Blenhiem back in the sky.
How much of a possibility is it for the Blenhiem folks to operate the Beaufighter as well?? Yes I know they are different owners at the moment!
