Any photos of this??
The aircraft is a BAE Systems Nimrod MRA.4 (ZJ518 / 18). It is not yet in service from what the commentator said nor is it yet based a Waddington. Unless someone can tell me otherwise.
I had read somewhere recently that there was a museum planned at the old tower. Attached is a photo of the Tower that I took on Saturday (30/6/07) after the Waddington Airshow.

It would be great to see this tower restored.
Flying Legends is a show I have not been to before either, this year I will be there and I would love to hear more about it, regardless of if it is an unspoken topic. I’d rather know as much as possible from the people who have been there. I’m looking forward to what promises to be a great airshow.
My photos from the 1998 Air Fete – apologies for the quality, they were taken with a rather poor camera!!

Isn’t the Sweedish B17 A (SE-BYH) still the only one flying in the world??
It looks too sharp and too digital to be a real photograph. Very suspect!!!
It would be a nice thought to see something like this though…
Thanks for the replies folks, appreciate it alot.
Lakenheath was dead when I passed by there yesterday, I got there as four F-15s landed and then nothing for an hour! Went to Mildenhall and saw one KC-135 land in the hour I was there as well!!!
Was gutted I am missing out on the A-10’s but I gather they are here for a month. Hopefully I’ll get up there one day in the next couple weeks. Does anyone know if they will be flying on a weekend??

Debach – Janie & The BBMF
Today at Debach Airfield. Really enjoyable day out and only a fiver! Please excuse some of the quality of the photos, I’m still trying to work out how the new camera works!!

The rest of my Photos are here. Just the aircraft though! It was not the best lighting conditions so I have edited as best I can.
Comments as always are appreciated.

The was a story a while back that Kermit Weeks of Fantasy of Flight, Florida had a Lancaster in bits to be restored to fly. Is this still the case or was it just rumour?
I’ve just about finished editing and uploading my photos!!!
Here are a few more for you all to look at.

Photos from Sunday 3rd June can be found here
Thanks for looking
Richard
is there a website for the museum? Where is it?
I am going to Prague in August and it looks like a great place to visit.
Hi John
thanks for the info on Bradwell Bay regarding the power station, I thought this government wanted more nuclear power!! Still it is interesting to hear this one is being decomissioned.
As for the CT site that you took the pictures on, I find it a great site for reference and will often look at it. As for the buildings behind the Control Tower at Bradwell Bay, they were still there when I was, sadly I forgot to take the photos! I got disracted chatting to the owner of the old tower!! I thing they are used for storage now and they have done some work to them if I remember correctly.
