Any news as to when the Tigercat is leaving and where it is going? I’m planning a visit to duxford at the end of may and was hoping to see it then.

I had heard a rumour that the beaufighter was going abroad that was all.
When is the Tigercat due to depart then?
and
Will the Beaufighter be flying here before it goes abroard? it would be great to see it fly.
I thought the Tigercat and the Beaufighter were off to pastures new? What is the story with them now? If they are still leaving, any ideas when?
Richard
Thanks for that Jamie, I must have been blind when I went up there the other week then!! I had gone with the intention to photograph some of the old airfield but the weather had taken a turn and I figured I go another time instead!!
Keep an eye on my site though and post any updates on this thread as well.

When was the memorial at Earls Colne photographed? I was there a couple weeks ago and didn’t see a memorial at all?
Richard.
While we are on this topic of airfield memorials, my website;
http://www.airfields.fotopic.net
is entirely dedicated to this subject, airfield and aviation memorials. The collection of photographs is growing slowly and if anyone can assist me with little known memorials in the areas I have covered so far then let me know! Any feedback on my website is appreciated! Thanks.
What a real shame, I went last year for the first time (and the last time it seems) and it was one of the highlights of my year in terms of airshows, a cracking little venue and a brilliant airshow. Really sorry to hear it is cancelled.

A nice looking memorial, I always find the time to reflect whenever I see these. We really must not forget the sacrifices that have been made in the past and even now with the current conflicts.
I’ll make time to see that memorial when I get the cahnce to visit the area.

Thanks for the replies guys, I agree with Newforest that we “Should start a thread for the aircraft with the most registrations” could be an interesting thread!

I saw it at Duxford and Shoreham in September 2006, not sure how long it has been airworthy again for though.
So it is Danish then?
