I thought the aircraft was a Vampire or a Venom but I could be wrong!
The numbers at the bottom of the 1st photo indicate it was taken on 14th July 1955 and the Bottom photo was 26th May 1957 if that helps identyfy them at all.
Will it be on show on Sunday as there is no way I can get there on Saturday?
The nose section is definately at Haleswoth. It is on the site of the old main entrance, near where the drop tank memorial is.

My name is on the list, be sad to see yet another airfield be sold off when it could so easily be preserved in some way.
