I know the Super Hornet ain’t that much of a capable interceptor. But it can do “Fighter Escort” he? It’s mostly a intercept quite thing but it can escort some of the bombers like B-52 or B-2 or anything that envoles a bomber needed to be escorted or a fighter that has trouble. Mach 1.8 is still fast right?
yes it can do fighter escort but its not intended to be as an interceptor, it isnt even near an intercepting job.

I dont know super hornet expert. figure that out with you super hornet knowledge because you know about the super hornet. you should quite learn that mach 1.8 is still fast. even compared to recent fighters, its falling behind the speed category. even speed isnt important, if you want to intercept you need mach 2 to get you there fast. also if you havent noticed its what people consider the super hornet and hornets top speed “slow”. really even the viper is faster than the super hornet but speed isnt your planes thing. but the super hornet is faster than recent mach 1 fighters and is faster than anything below mach 1.8 like cars, trains, animals and people
