Yes, i think the VALIENT footage may be on the CLASSIC BRITISH JETS : THE VALIENT. dvd, which fingers crossed is in the post. Is the cosford valient the actual one that dropped the ATOMIC BOMB. we saw it last week when we visited…………standing under the VFORCE aircraft is a real eye-opener. thanks for the info!!
We sat there for ages, whilst i messed about with my new camera, trying to get the best exp of 603 at that distance, tripod out and everything, they even waved at us when they came closer,
Do you often get up to Woodford, and if so what other Aircraft can be seen There regularly, or is it pretty much light aircraft :confused:
Visited today (9th Sept) and took the same shot everybody else takes,
but 603 had a visitor, I assumed it was one of the Nimrods being fitted out at woodford. Not sure if we were supposed to photograph it (as i believe cameras are STRICTLY not allowed on site), but they towed the aircraft right up to us and waved, as they turned onto the runway and took it into the factory complex……………Having not seen a Nimrod (please excuse my newbie status) , i cant help thinking they borrowed the design from a tacky low budget “B” movie they use to show on BBC2 on saturday mornings :rolleyes:
