I do hope the SPS Fanstream makes it into production. I can’t get over the fact that it is based on the Su-34 (one of my favorite attack aircraft).
The Torygraph on a possible Triton purchase.
I thought the best option would be a split 50/50 purchase between the manned P-8A and the unmanned Triton.
Photoshop?
I think that someone has been messing around in Photoshop for too many years.
Not just yet. The Senate still has to vote on the future of the A-10, so it can go either way. Personally I hope they don’t get rid of the A-10.
A big waste… 🙁
It could have been competition for the A-400M in some of the more Eastern markets that look to Russia, I am sad that it has died.:apologetic:
Whoaaaa… :love-struck:
Courtesy Berkut.
First time I have seen the PAK-FA flying with hardpoints fitted. Is this a sign that weapons testing will be starting soon?
I thought the new Russian bomber was to be developed by Tupolev and be a subsonic flying wing design.
Actualyl I don’t understand Your forth and back but to admit it’s annoying !
Better to enjoy the new images ….
At last 2011 has flown, great pictures by the way.
It will be interesting to find out what the final order will be after 2016. My guess would be a further 2 squadrons with 20 aircraft each.
Just read a BBC News Report online about the future of the F-35B in Royal Navy service I have the link here. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-26124894
more of 空警500 aka KJ500
空警3000 aka KJ3000 and AESA model
How does the KJ-2000/3000 compare with the likes of Western and Russian AWACS aircraft in terms of overall detecting range?
The picture can clearly see a lot of the three generations of the Chinese Air Force fighter planes on the tarmac with the J-10, Su-30, J-11, J-8II, Flying Leopard other models.
Nice find MiG-29. By the way what airbase is that.
The RAF isn’t going to buy any Taranis. It’s a technology demonstrator, not a prototype of something that’s going to be put into operation. The operational platform this will lead to doesn’t exist yet.
Because it doesn’t exist yet, it isn’t going to be ready for service for a long time. I can’t see it having any impact on Typhoon. It may, perhaps, eventually affect the number of F-35s bought.
Oops pressed the mouse button a little to quick, what I actually meant was that if the Taranis was successful and an operational UCAV was developed from it. Then see my post above.
I wonder how many squadrons the RAF would want of the Taranis UCAV and what this means for the current Typhoon and F-35B programs?
