Ok assuming its it good condition and can be traced back to a spitfire for example once deactivated in the region of£2000 to £2500. If you Google deactivated brownings you should find a few.

Didn’t ask for bank details but it was stamped postage paid “Royal Mail” so I think it really was from them! So if I did make up an address I might not get any more letters. And apart from my name isn’t Mr Manager the rest of it was right 😀

All I know is what he told me! I do know he was a photo reconnaissance spitfire pilot after the war ended as ive seen his log book and the picture of the one he force landed after engine problems at low level, it was a few years ago i was told the story. Either way its a good flying moment in a film.
