Pictures are obviously from Russia or Belarus, you won’t find L-39s and Flankers with red stars in Uzbekistan or Ukraine.
    Awesome finds, anyway.
Could you please post a link to the forum thread where you found them? Can’t track back from the picture attachments.

    It’s definately Krasnodar (275ARZ), Russia! 😉

One of Su-25K Frogfoots arrived in Cote d’ivoire in order to cover up the losses incurred from devastating French strike against the FACI.

    Thanks, Cy24.

The properties of Ivory Coast Su-25 mention that it was taken in oct2004. During 2004 Belarus supplied 2 single seat Su-25. So I think this is one of the destroyed aircraft.

Or do you have other information?

several years ago, during a graduation cermony of the Syrian Air Force Academy, a formation composed of Mig-29 (lead),25,23,21,Su-22 and Su-24 flew a flypast over the croud for a moment and then dissappeared.
That was the only time that the Syrian Mig-29 ever shown to the public.

    Hi Dingodog,

I was told one of the serials of Syrian MiG-29 is 221. How sure are you about the serials 21,23,25? A drawing on arab-military.com shows MiG-29 6700. What about that?? Any ideas?
Are any pictures available from the flypast? Or how did they manage to read the serials??
    And what about the Su-24?

    Thanks,

Sorry mate, I don’t buy it. From that angle and with that kind of resolution, it could just as well belong to a large number of other nations.

Googeler, you are right. I do not believe it either. The Syrian MiG-29 are based in Saiqal. Have a look on Google earth: 33° 40 57 N 37° 12 50 E. There is no green grass over there…

I included the best shot I have in my archive of Syrian MiG-29.

Might these be pre-delivery photos of an aircraft destined for Equatorial Guinea? On second thought, there’s a problem with that- the Su-25 is manufactured in Georgia, not Russia. Very, very intriguing. I’d say it’s Peruvian, but the camo colors aren’t right and the roundels don’t look Peruvian. I’ll do some research and see what I can come up with. Anybody know of any new roundels coming into use anywhere?

Su-25 is updated in base of Kubinka, in ARZ 121.

These examples look like Eq. Guinea aircraft, I recon serials 031 and 032 were noted during August this year according to sources.

and for information the s/n of the last Iraqi SU-24 was 24635.

What do you mean MM2000? Was this the last survivor, or the last delivery to Iraq??

    Source of this information?

The Mi-35’s in Kiev are possibly from Libya! A few Libyan examples were noted at Gostomel during 2006. Colours also seem to match.
Any other pics of these birds??

    Hi Piranas,

I think an Algerian MiG-25 pilot is a very interesting friend for this forum.
Could you ask him which serials are painted on the tails of the Foxbats please? In almost every picture you can not read it off. Maybe he can help.

    Thanks,

I have found them on one burned CD with aircraft walk-arounds collected by my friend from Bristol, England. There are more photos of that particular bird, but all are related to details and close-up photos of landing gear wells, exhaust nozzles etc.

    Hi Flex,

Could you post these too please? 😉

    These are also very interesting.

    Thanks,
