Was a very good show, really enjoyed it. I’ve just got back to Manchester and am starting to go through my photos. Took about 1000 so will be up most of the night 🙂 Excellent range of planes – I personally would have liked the Lancaster to be there but I believe it was meant to be at the ill-fated RIAT.

Did anybody else find the Team Guinot commentator vaguely amusing (and annoying)? I lost count of the number of times she said “beautiful” etc.

I wish I’d arrived a bit earlier – despite driving down last night and camping nearby, I had problems with my inverter blowing the cigarette lighter fuse in my car. I eventually came to the conclusion that the inverter was faulty so had to go to Maplins in Cambridge to get another inverter so I could charge the batteries for my camera.

I will now keep a selection of spare fuses in the car 🙂 Oh, and charge the batteries in advance and not assume that I’ll be able to using the inverter.

Absolutely beautiful photos! I am usually pleased to get a few nice photos from an airshow, but all of these are wonderful. Well done.

I am so sad about this accident. The pilots do an amazing job showing off these beatiful aircraft off and I am utterly gutted for the loss of both 🙁
