Count the J-10s! 😀
I see 6 J-10As.
QUOTE “It was originally pitched as the weapon to accompany the Su-30MKK3, which features a new radar from a bureau in competition with the normal Sukhoi radar provider. The Su-30MKK3 program died a quiet death last year, according to Russian sources with vested interests in its demise. The Kh-59MK, however, will survive, and Raduga officials say it will be ready for export in 2006,” noted Fisher.”
It looks like the Su-30MKK3 won’t proceed, with the Su-30MKK2 being more significantly enhanced. Additional, Su-30MKK2s are to be expected.
It appears that PLAAF or PLAN maybe acquiring up to 100 FC-1s with the RD-93 engines, as Pakistan can not have them. China may select the Russian Phazotron Kopyo phrase-array radar, instead of KLJ-10 radar to enhance the FC-1/J-9 fighter.
Would it be the WS-13 for the Pakistani FC-1s?
J-8 H/F???
Maybe its the F-8IIM for the Nigerian Air Force. :diablo:
Republic of China?[/url]
Are they referring to Taiwan? 😀 😮
for sure its BS, the guy who posted up this, is highly anti-Chinese, to suggest such comments
if China was really unsatisfied with the J-10, why would China produce them now and put them in service?
even if the J-10 was really poor performance, why would China make a F-16 clone? if China would make a clone, it would take ages for testing and etc…
by then the F-16 clone, would not be ready until something like 2010 beyond… use your brains monkey head brute?
With the CY-1 discussion: its now the LFC-16 fighter to be developed by Guizhou Aircraft Industrial Corp. (maker of the JL-9 Advanced Trainer), originally designed by a company called “Beijing Superwing”.
Whether it will fly or not? Its uncertain, considering there’s a J-10 and FC-1 (maybe a F-7MF too).
But one thing for sure, is that the LFC-16 will have to have a market in demand for that fighter (eg. the FC-1’s original market is the PAF) in order to make it a reality. Otherwise its a blueprint that will get nowhere.
i agree with Moskit on the J-11
it seems that China will not be interested in anymore Russian weaponry, unless Russia would offer things like the Su-30MKK3, Su-32/34 Fullback, some Tu-22M3 Backfires, and some S-400 air defence batteries
its unlikely that China will 1000 FC-1s…
its more like up to 20 FC-1s for the PLAAF Acrobatic Teams for October 1st National Day and August 1st PLA Day.
:p :dev2:
China would be buying more J-10s (something like 600 or more for both the PLAAF and PLAN).
so 2 KJ-2000 AWACS serve with the PLAAF now?
reportedly that during Defence Minister Cao’s visit to Russia, China wanted to purchased 30 IL-76s, 8 IL-78 tankers, and 4 more A-50 platforms to be converted to KJ-2000s. (and a possible deal signed, with China acquiring 24 more Su-30MKK2s or Su-30MKK3s and more S-300MPU2s and S-400s)
what is the status of the Y-8 AWACS program? where reportedly a prototype flew in 2001.
if the F-7MF becomes a reality…
then there’s a possibility that N Korea will be buying it… due to its poor Air Force comprising of old planes, given NK’s previous interest in buying the J-10.
other really poor countries are able to purchase the F-7MF, if they cannot afford the FC-1 @ $15 million USD each.
i was just wondering if the F-7MF can carry SD-10 BVRAAMs… because only pictures of it show it carrys only the PL-11 BVRAAMs
i doubt the USAF, USN, USMC, or the US Air National Guard would buy any T-50s.
is there any specifications of this Iranian fighter?
and did it fly yet? i mean the pic of it could be a prototype or a full scale mockup display?
More JH-7/JH-7A/H-6 pics
& WS-10?? Is it real??
notice that some of the JH-7 pics, are not JH-7A in the link provided… they are JH-7 Block 02s (because they have wing fences on the wings)… JH-7As don’t have em’.
The ARJ-21 could fly as early as 2006. This is a pure commercial jet, though some of the biggest military firms like Xian and Shenyang are involved.
The above mentioned turboprops are all originally military planes that China also sells in the commercial markets.
thx comrade…
yeah i know about the Y-8F200, Y-8F400, Y-8F600 only.
China has sold two Y-8F200 to the Tanzanian Govt., and the Y-8X is the military transport version of the Y-8F600
hey have u heard anything about the Y-8 AWECS? does it use a Y-8F400 platform?
i’m not familiar with commercial planes
so did a ARJ-21 flown yet?
