I have just seen a photo on another forum (Farnborough Proboards – Hawarden thread) of the port main gear shorter than the starboard after a landing at Hawarden yesterday. Not too sure what damage was sustained?
I understand all departed in large pieces on the back of a lo-loader this afternoon. Bucc departed a good while ago.
If any of you are registered with Farnborough Pro Boards, lots of photos on the Bournemouth thread over recent days of their departure.

8674planes, what makes G-SIJJ home built? Weird comment based upon nothing more than….what?
G-SIJJ
Having seen Bill Bowker use the short taxiway to the engine run up bay as a runway at Luton, a short landing strip was all that was required.
Looking for a venue and Christmas lunch on Dec 7th. Must have projector, PC and speakers.
I saw it once at Orlando North in the late 80’s/early 90’s
Tangmere, SWWAPS closed a while ago.
Taken at Luton sometime between 1954 and 1958 at the Percival Rally Luton airport (whatever that was) with WV614 in the foreground and G-AGTC just visible behind.

RAE used it for private flying, that Tiger Moth was also present then. Locals from Bedford used the airfield back then to teach folk to drive off the public highway.
My uncle was a police officer back then and Twinwood Farm was on his ‘patch’. When I used to stay with him, I got a great tour of the local airfields inc Little Staughton and Castle Mill. The best mind you was Thurleigh, with BOAC 707s and VC10s bashing the circuit.
My mate Luton Relic took the photo yesterday, so must be visibile from beyond the airport boundary.

Thanks Luton Relic!
