My favourite BBMF Hurricane scheme was the 85 Squadron Night Fighter scheme worn by LF363 during part of the 1980’s.

As to the matter of hydraulic problems on Hurricanes, ask the BBMF !

I am not saying that I know better than the pilot of this Hurri but would it be normal practice for the engine to be cut sooner ? There just seemed to be a lot of forward momentum taking place once the leg had clearly (to the observer) folded.
No slur intended on the pilot just curious about moments like this.

Don’t want to go too deep on this one, but in my view its a poor oversight that successive British govts of a sea faring nation such as this have not seen fit to preserve one aircraft carrier.
Just my opinion!
If your going down that route of discussion, the first debate should surely be questioning the wisdom of retiring the fixed wing naval fleet with no replcaement due for ten year’s. :diablo:

What a sad sight.
Sadly however everything can’t be saved, a shame though as an aircraft carrier would make a great home for a floating museum.

Rather a clever use of mirrors to replicate the production line.
Have you seen pictures of this diorama before ?
A mate of mine used to always get proof of posting, then someone claimed they didn’t receive, it didn’t make any difference to the outcome.
Very true, paypal ALWAYS finds in favour of the buyer. No matter what evidence you have as a seller.

RIP Red 4 and thank you for entertaining the public.
My thoughts and sympathies to family and friends.
No, still addicted to the Fort. I’ve got a 1/48 monogram model that I’d like to build as a full cutaway, fuz, wings, nacelles and tail.
