JASDF Agressors
Great Looking Birds….
Q5 e – Hiko Kyodotai
It’s indeed the Japanese agressor squadron at Nyutabaru. There is another aircraft in service than just the F-15J/DJ though.
The agressor unit of the JASDF is the Hiko Kyodotai based at Nyutabaru. The unit was established on 17 December 1981 at Tsuiki and equipped with five Mitsubishi T-2’s and two T-33A’s. On 16 March 1990 the unit transferred to Nyutabaru and converted to the F-15DJ. Today the unit is operating about seven F-15DJ and one F-15J in in various smart colourschemes.
Have to admit thou – this was taken from scramble.nl
And I had heard that a Agressor EC-1 was also based there to test Japanese + US Navy Surface vessels defences for training purposes….
The A-10 was a helicopter which seems to have been closely related to the Mi-24 family (It has been noted as the prototype for the family by some but Ive also read reports that it was simply a test a/c which used a similar powertrain etc….So I am not entirely sure…)…..I dont have much information on the beast but it seems that it was similar to the Streak Eagle concept but taken much further…..I currently cant find any pictures of it but if anyone has any Id much appreciate it….
Well the records I have atrributed to the A-10 helicopter are as follows….
Rotorcraft:
A-10 (2 TV2-117A, 1 500 kgs each)
Speed over a closed circuit of 1000 km without payload : 332.65 km/h
Date of flight: 13/08/1975
Pilot: Galina RASTORGOUEVA (USSR)
Crew: Liudmila POLYANSKAIA
Course/place: Ramenskoye (Russia)
Speed over a closed circuit of 500 km without payload : 331.02 km/h
Date of flight: 01/08/1975
Pilot: Galina RASTORGOUEVA (USSR)

Along with…..
Speed over a straight 15/25 km course : 341.32 km/h
Speed over a closed circuit of 100 km without payload : 334.46 km/h
Aircraft Today….
Fencer Prototype T-6-1
For the SU-24 just found a pic of the original prototype – now at Monino……Cool wings….the downswept tip is interesting…..actually the whole aircraft is very reminiscent of the TSR2, funny that…
1A, Apache – A-36 (Attack version of P-51)
B, Black Hawk – Sikorsky Attack Helicopter (Cant remember designation – was to be sold to Iran….)? [Actually Just found this aswell, I know cheating but it intrigued me….Turbojet-powered attack aircraft (XA-43); later changed to twin-jet night fighter (XP-87 / XF-87 Blackhawk)]
2 – If you are talking about the A-10 Warthog then I dont know – but I know there was a Russian Helicopter also designated A-10 which holds a number of Circuit/Time Speed records……Which one are you talking about?
3A, Martlett – F4F Hellcat
5a, 555fs – Triple Nickle, Aviano Italy – F-16C Block 40
6, Operation Ranch hand was the code name for the spraying of Herbicides in SE Asia – I think the main aircraft was the Fairchild C-123, but I think that C-119s were also used….
11, Did the First SU-24 have a fixed Wing (Non-VG, a Delta if I remember correctly) I think it also had a conformal take-off rocket assistance system…
12, Lithuanian An-2s, used by their air assault forces…
