BHD-STN-BHD with only about 80 minutes in STN for a bite to eat with some friends I hadn’t seen in a while. For 2p return I thought why not, and got a nice whiff of summer standing outside STN terminal for a few minutes before jetting back to a wet BHD.
Always had a nosey at some four sector days with Ryanair’s deals but never booked any, as I realised I’d spend more time standing queueing in airport corridors than actually flying.
Don’t quote me but I believe it does a STN rotation each night, a 146 does another STN and a 146 does the BRS.
Cool shots, you moving over(or is it back?) to Ni?
G-EZAG is a A319, we don’t see any of the EZY A320s pass through BFS.
Conor,
Did you take it from Drennan’s Road? Probably the best place to hang around, no hassle from the police.
It’s been and is planned to be an MD83 all summer.
I should’nt worry too much Lucas, this is just a one off technical problem, sort of thing that is fixed quickly. You’ll find DUB is business as usual by the morning and will be fine on tuesday (severe bad luck excepted of course!!)
There have been problems with the radar for the past month or more, with slots being dished out left, right and centre at times.
Later it flew Luton down to Nice. All I know about it.
A distinct lack of MyTravel flights, having now become TCX.
Frankfurt or Amsterdam as far as I know, nowhere in the UK yet.
Yep tonight’s MSR986 JFK-CAI is a 777
Thousands of emergncy landing’s happen every day around the world
I think you’re exaggerating as much as the media now, really, thousands of them everyday?
Infact the BBC’s reporting on it is nowhere near the usual sensationalism of others, no mention of near misses with schools/hospitals, no mention of 300 people seconds from death…
I can’t remember what the report said (and can’t find it again) but there was a mention of incorrect loading. Why are some people so quick to blame the pilots, again and again in incidents?
Anyone have a link to the report?
Cool shots, thanks. Glad all 152 got out ok.
The rudder is there but angled towards the camera, hence it almost appears missing.
Indeed they are not, but still pretty close and an awesome sight.
Personally I don’t see it as being ‘over the top’ after all safety should be everyone’s main priority.
Somebody can correct me if I am wrong, but I think you’ll find that GSM are the first UK airline to have their ETOPS licence suspended/removed by the CAA 🙂Adam
Adam,
I think he meant Slightly Off-Topic, not Over the top.
Start of the end? Maybe, but many would have spoke highly of them when they were smaller and stuck to European flights. Sad that it was ruined.
