Where are you based now then redsquare, if you don’t mind me asking?
Ops, maybe I should make it clearer than I was flying BHX-BFS as they were flying BFS-ACE, and we were both in 6A :d
It flew NCL-STN lastnight at 2255z I think, as AMT6062.
Did Wannabe/Dan not order that one in the end, or another Sigma?
1/3 of the price, I’m shopping for new lenses at the minute, should I make you my new best friend? 😀 If you can get me the 100-400 L IS at 1/3 of the price, consider it sold!!
It’s most -700s though there is a chance you could get a -300.
I suppose there are those who wouldn’t sit in it, so to avoid any fuss just skip actually numbering a row 13 out.
Incidentally I was assigned seat 6A recently flying back home and simulatenously another family member was assigned seat 6A flying ACE-BFS, freaky or what 😀
I keep meaning to look each time I fly but forget, though I did notice G-OGBE bmibaby 733 didn’t have a row 13.
Can’t say I agree with the renaming, not so much because it’s after a footballer or an alocholic, but seems stupid to throw away the rare ‘City’ part of the airport’s name.
Flybe naming a Dash8 is fine and dandy, nothing against naming aircraft at all. Only problem there is when the picture of him starts to fade/peel off, will only look terrible.
If BHD is going to renamed, why not make it after Professor Frank Pantridge, definitely a less controversial character!
Too big for the runway eh? why land there then, in that part of the world, surprisingly there are many large runways…
With a suspected fire onboard, I’d think the crew are more interested in getting it down safely somewhere as soon as possible rather than floating around looking for somewhere longer. Landing distance probably wasn’t an issue, but just because it can land there doesn’t mean it can take off again with pax and fuel onboard for the remaining 2000nm? ish back to LHR.
I don’t think there are any major strips near UAR, or at least any strips bigger than that at Uralsk close by(2472x43m)
One or the other, but it was for _-SJMC I believe. Checking a.net, it shows G-SJMC in full MyT colours last month.
It departed MAN on Monday for Punta Cana with an engine for C-SJMC, Skyservice 767.
Nice shots Sam 😀
Interesting,
MON9376 is an A300-600 due at 1525z
MON9380 is an A300-600 due at 1545z
MON9394 is a B757 due at 1620z
MON9377 A300-600 is due to depart to Gatwick at 2345z
MON9381 A300-600 is due to depart to Gatwick at 2345z
MON9395 B757 is due to depart to Gatwick at 2345z
Match or something on?
I’d say so,it was planned to arrive this morning around 11 from Cork and depart again this evening to Cork.
Ballykelly has two runways longer than Derry.
03/21 2000yds x 50yds Concrete (That’s about 1830x45m)
08/26 2000yds x 50yds Concrete
15/33 1100yds x 50yds Concrete
Interesting shots, but is it not AWAC rather than AWACK?
