they’ve two main runs that run parallel,27R/09L & 27L/09R although there is a third smaller runway which is always never used the exception in extreme cross winds maybe?
I think it was 23/05, but it is no longer a runway.
It should have arrived already I think, it departed BFI at 2055z lastnight enroute GLA direct. The last I saw of it before going to bed, it was 400nm out of BFI and was to route overhead KEF, unless it may have stopped in there in the end.
What does this mean in terms of the First Choice and Thomas Cook merge that was being talked about? Down the drain or still a possiblity and creating an even larger group?
Hi Fred,
Do you have anymore of EI-DLE from Tuesday? My friend was in it doing base training.
…………………….
Only let half through, would you prefer it if they let EVERYONE through? Not sure how that would work.
I don’t think there’s availability for any more based -700s, and basing a lone A319 isn’t on. Any new routes will have to fit in with the existing 4 or 5 based 737s, or operated from the other end. W patterns aren’t all that common anymore.
BFS is remaining 737 for the next few years, until the 737s have gone.
Wow! We get to see what the 797 looks like!
I would watch it, if I was in the country 🙁
It says ‘Flight 797,’ it doesn’t mention an aircraft type being a 797.
It doesn’t carry “an aircraft” it carries component parts of (what will become) an aircraft, fuselage sections mainly…;) Most Boeing 747F’s open up via the nose and by a large cargo door near the rear end. I imagine this one does the same tricks ? 🙂
I believe it’s a ‘swing-tail’ as opposed the conventional side cargo door near the rear.
Valso the flight levels the LCF is going to operate at??.
A couple of plans I’ve seen for it have it at usual levels, FL350 etc.
Nice shots, did you see Sky Europe’s OM-NGG 737 come in? It was on delivery to Bratislava and flew into Edinburgh direct from Boeing Field.
Nice shots, what time did you take the two of Zoom at? I saw it pass overhead me towards Macrahanish after departing BFS, the GLA-BFS-YYZ service.
The flight routing BFS-STN was I believe low on fuel after holding for STN with their 60kt winds, by the time it gets back up to Liverpool area fuel is running low, but not running on fumes low.
Too many will believe that it was low on fuel and had to divert into LPL before even making it as far as STN, which didn’t happen, and certainly not today of all days with 100+kt tailwinds all the way across the Irish sea.
Not sure what the fastest I’ve had is, but I do remember one year landing in TFS and an exactly 1 hour later standing on the baclony of my hotel, bags included!
I thought runway 23 offically ceased to exist, and is now a taxiway?
