    Cheers for that SKYMONSTER, im wanting to go on a 747 as i have never been on one of them so that would make the trip better in my eyes!!

    Cheers T5 .. yeah i thought £200 was a lot if there was not much differance…. if you would of turned round and said one was like a cattle plane and the other good then £200 could of been worth it!!

    AN-225 TAKE OFF MAN 06:00

    following on from the above…….

    Guys…im on hol from work this week and was thinking of going over to watch the take off… however its 06:00 and the sun does not rise till Sunrise 07:11 (BST) on Tuesday.. so i guess i wont be able to see anything???? you agree??? unless i had night vision goggles!! LOL!!

    How often does the AN-225 come into MAN?? (im not that clued up on these things as yet!!!)

    I have posted on the other thread re the An-225… i saw it over HALIFAX, WEST YORKSHIRE at a low height while playing golf…… big beast!!

    AN-225 – SAW IT TODAY OVER HALIFAX WEST YORKSHIRE

    I guys,

    im new to the forum but had to find out what the beast was i saw today!!!!

    3 engines each wing!!!

    Im not up on all models etc…. but i know a little bit and while i was playing golf today in HALIFAX, WEST YORKSHIRE at about 13:30 this big bird appeared from over the hill side!!! 3 engines on either wing and a massive wing on the rear at a pretty low height for normal!!

    Since doing a bit of reaeach found the AN-225 which appeared to look the same… then i came across this thread where you guys on confirmed my sight!!!!!

    I texted a mate of mine whos into the aviation scene who confirmed it sounded like it was a Antonov-225 (hes in the Carney islands at the moment and gutted he missed it!!! LOL!!

    Can any one confirm where it had been and wheres its going??
