Read a John Farley interview in it last night. Even tho I’d never heard of him I found it interesting. And I learned what makes a Sea Harrier distinctive, the raised cockpit so the pilot can see behind him. Also he described how he flew a Spitfire for the first time and snarled the prop on landing when the tail came up too high. Good stuff!

    Larry,

The biplane with No 12 on it is in fact a 1911 Avro Triplane replica, or did you mean the 12th shot, of a Hawker Demon?

I believe this was the Demons first show, and is the only airworthy example in the world.

You’re right on the glider, it’s an SG38 Dagling.

    Cheers,

    Kev

Ah! I mean the one with the number 12 on its rear. I saw the one before it and thought it was the same plane. I’m viewing the pics on my phone but I can see now it is in fact a triplane.

    Fabulous photos!
Thats a nice early biplane there, number 12. What is it? And whats the German plane before it? Looks like a glider.

    I don’t think that’s a very good idea, Larry.

That would just be adding more processing steps, and more processing steps = reduced image quality.

Yea i know but without the original file there’s nothing you can do to remove what you’ve added. I’m not sure you can go thru the History in photoshop and delete what was done unless you have a psd file.

You could try adding Gaussian Blur or Median Filter in small amounts, that may help.

I thought the reg on this Cessna 120 looked familiar. Checked my photos from Sywell back in May and there it was: http://i715.photobucket.com/albums/ww157/TheMightyOz/Sywell%20Cessnas/IMG_7892.jpg

Ha,small world eh! Its a lovely little plane,or as James May said on Top Gear a ‘Good kite’!
If I could fly I’d like one of these.

Spotted this light aircraft a while ago and enhanced the photo to show it better.
    The letters on the wing look like G A K V M

Only exception probably the Tu-154. The Tu-154 is good looking in the traditional sense. 😀

    Indeed it is:

Yea i saw an interesting TV documentary recently on early russian planes, including an Antonov Ant1 with long slender wings and an early Concorde clone called the Concordski. It seems they got there first,or rather they would have if the soviet rulers had allowed the plans to go ahead!
