    another question, whats a pitot? I think from what I can glean from google its some kind of speedometer?

    Ah, thanks Dave.
    I just googled randomly and found a Spitfire witht the letters C[roundel] A D on its side.
    Would C be for Canada in this case?

    A few years back when I lived near Wolverhampton I used to go watch the local RC Club fly their planes in a field not far from my then home.
    It was great to watch although a bit painful at times, especially when one guy brought out a beautiful Spitfire. It looked great in the air but unfortunatley the field was rather rough. This was fine for the ‘long legged’ models but the Spit just didnt have the ground clearance and ended up with its arse in the air and a buggered prop!

    Oh man I remember seeing Bad Taste years ago and being amazed by how bad it was, so bad it was brilliant!
    Not seen Dawn Patrol but I love The Thing!(based on a JW Campbell story called Who Goes Where)

    It will probably be subtitled but thats never put me off(Amelie is an excellent film).

    Braün is pronounced brown, and that’s what it means, but Braün think brawn sounds better.

    Whenever I see a haridryer I think of that German bloke who,after developing the doodle bug moved to america and worked on the Saturn V rocket…..
