for those of you who have never visited this site before

its not a bad attempt by the looks of it, not sure how accurate it is though. Either way, looks good.

the webmaster returns :);)
interesting program last night……….im not sure there was any point in trying to recreate somethig that it is impossible to recreate but it was nice to see the lancaster footage.
The Magazine price seems to go up all the time and get thinner too. Plus ive noted that they seem to have quite regular spots for corgi and the diverse models model companies( or whatever they are fully called). Now fair enough, they are nice models but why the constant plugs. Lets face it, they are plugs even if they are part of a vast article on how well made the models are etc etc
Ive bought every issue since the age of 10 back in 1994 and the decline is obvious. To think that i only bought that first issue just because it had the Lanc on it.
we’ve not forgotten webmaster 😉
ps…is it just me or does flypast have less pages or is the paper getting thinner. either way, got mine this morning for the ever inflating price of 3.50.
steve 🙂
No display im afraid. The Lancs hours are allocated and no request was made for a flypast. Its not on the 2003 display lsit anyway
🙁
Perhaps i misread the tone of your posts, if so i apologise.
Still though, i dont see the harm in speculation, some informed, some not as to what is happening behind the scenes at TFC. The forum would be a boring place without it.
regards, steve
Its true, Steve doesn’t know the definate answer to A B or C but from reading his posts in the past id wager they are pretty good estimates.
Also, the whole point of the forum is to discuss Aviation issues and indeed endulge in some idle speculation if we like because we are passionate about the subject, so whats your problem. What happens to the Mossie is indeed Stephen Greys concern but it doesn’t mean we cant take an interest,
bestregards, steve (the other one 🙂 )
ps- what’s with the constant petty questions on RS709. what are you trying to prove?
What do you guys think of AIRCRAFT ILLUSTRATED?
😉 only kiddin’ Webmaster
Haha, i think you may be right Lancman!
Roll on the display season thats what i think! Anybody in West Yorkshire on the 10th May should get down to Haworth, Its a great place to see the Lanc display…..flies over the moors and then swoops down into the valley 🙂
Marvellous!!!
On the few occasions ive browsed through the todays pilot forum it has reminded me of that old joke,
How do you know if theres a pilot in the room?
They’ll tell you
🙂 😀 😀 🙂
Come on Webmaster, give us back our post!
🙂
Thats very weird i thought flypast would like to give over thier forum for free advertising for Rival magazines 😉
🙂 Lancman, i was thinking..if the spit and hurricane were unserviceable, maybe we could use the Chipmunks 😉 they’d look great on each side of the Lanc 🙂
Ive not heard anything about this but the word “test” is intriguing. Wonder what form these tests are going to take.
Great stuff Ashley,
do yu ahppen have to any email addresses for Duxford’s top brass. We could send a few emails voicing our concerns over the Shackleton. They probably wouldnt listen thoughbut its worth ago…or an address.
Anyone else want to join in?
best regards, steve hatton.
