Sorry Bruce I could have sworn it was possible to edit the heading at one time.
I was given a box of old copies of drawings some years ago, mostly old American homebuilts but there are copies of a couple of old gliders in there.. the Rhonbuzard and Hutter 28. I like looking at drawings to see how they were made esspecialy the very old types.
What Dh drawings do you have Stan, don’t suppose there is a DH53 set is there.
Ken
Just noticed before anyone points it out I missed the ‘H’ out of help in the title but the new forum format doesn’t let you edit the titles any more. sorry. [It has never been possible – Mods]
Great pics, thanks
Does anyone know if the Comet is fully assembled yet.
Ken
Thanks Stan, unfortunately the drawings on my CD werent in proper number order so I had to go through loads to find it .. the number did help though as they had been scanned in blocks. Found it eventualy and would you believe it the copy is so poor most is black blodges so unreadable. You dont have a good copy you can help me with can you please.
Thanks
Ken
Hello Mike, I can be at the airfield next friday if you plan to be in the area and would like to pop in to see the latest on the Comet restoration. If you can find any suitable puleys it would be great.
Ken
Hello Dai, Yes i had looked but the nimrod ones are far too big. There is an 1.5″ one on there at the moment but at nearly £30 too expensive, but thanks for the suggestion.
Ken

Hi Ken
Thanks for the info.
Is this the book you used to build the Bleriot now at Aeroventure ?.Cheer’s.
Bob T.
Hi Bob,
yes there was all the info I needed in the book, I had to do a few mods to fit the rotary engine but am pleased how it turned out.. Best part was sitting in it when assembled, made you think how brave the early aviators were. pity it wasnt to airworthy.
