    So the fragile state of the economy and the uncertainty caused by brexit has nothing to with this mass exodus St John. Sadly you continue to display a naivety beyond belief.

    I know that ultimately the net importer will be in the stronger position come tariffs and NTBs. Three times as many cars come from the EU to the UK as vice-versa. Lose 800k vehicle exports gain 2.5m sales in the UK without having to arrange shipping.

    As for the Boscombe Down incident, it could have involved an F117 or a B2, or any other type carrying sensitive equipment or weapons. Or, it could simply have been a military security exercise. Again, another, as yet unconfirmed, aircraft type may have been involved, but it is hard to find reliable or first-hand accounts of the event on the internet.

    Of course, I could be entirely wrong.

    The F-117 was made public in 1988 and the B-2 made a public flight in 1989. There would have been no reason to hide the details of a crash of either of these two aircraft. There was a nosewheel collapse on landing. A C-5 was diverted from Rammstein AFB to collect it.

    SPectra have three main goals : detect incomin wave (planeform will guide them to hotspots), than injec directionnally low level and extremely short signals. The idea is not to stay undetected, but to break kill chain.

    Hang on, hang on. I thought the active cancellation thing was supposed to make you undetected but now you’re just talking about breaking the kill chain, which is what any jamming system does.

    I’m seeing poor excuses coming from a badly ran, failing airline. If we accept that Brexit is the reason, then why aren’t all British airlines bust?

    So on that simplistic and infantile analysis then all car manufacturers should be bust as Rover went bust and all newsagents should be bust as my local went bust. I suspect you’re not clever enough to understand business.

    Rover went bust because of its own bad management and unions. So I think your comeback is actually agreeing with my point. Rover did not go bust due to Brexit.

    airspeed is indcated on high left part or fthe hud. Thnk it was around 450 Kts, bt i should check (or you).
    i think there is a 10.5 g about 7.45′

    I should point out that this isn’t really impressive for a g spike. An F-15 pulled 12g in a split S during Desert Storm.

    Firstly, Brexit hasn’t happened yet. Secondly, exclusion from the ETS should be beneficial for an airline because it means their emissions are uncapped and they don’t have to buy as many credits.

    As rogue state missile arsenals develop, the space-basing of interceptors may provide the opportunity to engage offensive missiles in their most vulnerable initial boost phase of flight, before they can deploy various countermeasures. Space-basing may increase the overall likelihood of successfully intercepting offensive missiles, reduce the number of U.S. defensive interceptors required to do so, and potentially destroy offensive missiles over the attacker’s territory rather than the targeted state. DoD will undertake a new and near-term examination of the concepts and technology for space-based defenses to assess the technological and operational potential of space-basing in the evolving security environment.

    The space-basing of interceptors also may provide significant advantages, particularly for boost-phase defense. As directed by Congress, DoD will identify the most promising technologies, and estimated schedule, cost, and personnel requirements for a possible spacebased defensive layer that achieves an early operational capability for boost-phase defense.

    Erick Hartmann the most famous combat ace in history downed 352 enemies airplanes, He said that most of the time the enemy never knew of his presence until it was too late. He survived to the war. This axiom today takes even more strength with 5th generation fighters. You can not shoot down an airplane that your sensors do not see or it is later when you can see it. So, a very low observable airplane take a very big advantage above all legacy fighters. It is simple.

    Yep. Studies after Vietnam showed the same thing.
