That’s interesting. Next thing you know we’ll have Condor taking over Lufthansa, or something of that nature!

Boeing’s answer to the Beluga. Nice! It should adorn the current house colours, no doubt.

I like when airlines get taken over/merged, yet both entities keep their brands. For instance, LH took over CX and yet CX are still based in ZRH and retain their colours. In the long run, I think this will be good for that airline, seeing as their previous brand, SwissAir, went by the wayside, as well. I’m hoping LH buys Olympic and retains that brand and base, as well. Very wishful thinking on my part, however.

It brings a tear to the eye – just like the LA smog! 😉

It’s not that bad. Nothing that a good Santa Ana wind can’t take care of once in a while. 😉

A Condor DC-10? No idea LH used to send those guys down here. A UTA 3-holer as well!

I didn’t know PIA had 737’s. I like the Exotic Valley the best.

Is the 3 class service new to MAN, then? I flew on SQ’s 772ER from AMS to SIN four years ago and it was a 2-class aircraft.

According to the Star Alliance timetable, SQ operates 5x weekly non-stop from SIN into MAN (and back) with a 772 from April 8 this year until late October. They operate twice weekly via ZRH on a 744.

Was PIK a tech stop back then, or were 747 classics from the states scheduled operators?

We’ve heard this before, but when is the official start date? When do they take delivery of the 773ER?

L1011 and 747 classic. Nowadays, I’m rather partial to the 777.

By the way lost – the flight was oceanic flight 815, part of the numbers – 4 8 15 16 23 42 I AM THE WORLDS BIGGEST LOST ADDICT

Ok, I knew it was either 815 or 816. Either way, I’m sure UA changed LAX-SYD-MEL-SYD-LAX from 815/816 to 839/840 for this reason.

Obviously yeah but I was just trying to make it clear that as beautiful as St. Maarten is, it isn’t perfect because of things such as this.

That’s fine, but it should by no means taint its image.
