Hi Richard, thank you very much for the link/photo of the RG-3 as biplane 🙂
Hi avion ancien,
please enlighten me. Is the RG-3 above F-WBGN (F-PECV) which is now in hand of the GPPA at Angers?
Never knew there was a biplane version. Hope you can locate a photo 🙂
Hi Kevin, how come you know so much about homebuilts (sorry)
Hi Chris, it is the A-103 by Agusta Italy. 🙂
Your turn please
Hi JP,
sorry, not American. It is from Europe
A small heli for a change. It is not a homebuilt.
Hi Mike J (and Eric),
the unique, one-of-a-kind and sole Wickham Model A Bue Bird ( I guess that`s why it is blue) from USA.
First in a series of homebuilts (including a twin!) of Mr. James Wickham. First flown 1955, registered N4944V and I think still active.
Wilkofife beat me 🙂
Hi FC,
the Larson Speedbird by Mr. Merle Larson and built to test his “somewhat different” wing.
I think it only flew once (1953) and was a modified Taylorcraft BC-12 (NX38C)
This is a picture from a more conventional angle
Engine has the same name. First tests 1953. Always flown with the uncovered fuselage. Built purely for test and R&D work. The stub wings and pusher tail rotor added at later stage. 🙂
while waiting for John’s next post
A nice helicopter
Hi Thomas,
You are right :):)
You have control, Sir!
Hi Canuck,:):)
Yes it is from Hungary and two examples were built (plus a lighter Proof-of-Concept)
The heli is the Hillman Model 360 of 1981. Designed by Rudy Enstrom for the Hillman Helicopter Company. Two examples built.
The other 360 was the prototype of the Hiller UH-12 (as Model 360X).
My new one has negative stagger. It is not from USA
The name of the designer is not represented in the designation, which is a number also used earlier by another heli producer. Another light heli is still in production and that one bears the designer`s name.
