Sorry for the delay in replying. Al is, of course, correct, it is the AG-1.
Now that we have had the AG-1 and AG-2 (see earlier on the forum), who knows what became of the AG-3 (which really existed)?
Al, you have control
Thanks Ivan.
This one is something of a teaser (except for those who know what it is)
The Triciclo of MCA Chile (Maestranza Central de Aviacion de Fuerza de Chile).
Very nice picture. Would you know what model of the 100hp Franklin engine was used in this threewheeler?
Ivan, yes it is! 🙂
You have the controls and have a nice weekend.
Easy one for the weekend
I would say the Türk Kurumu Uçak Fabrikasi THK-11
BTW reportedly the product of a team of Polish designers./engineers.
John, indeed the Streak 85.
I understand that two aircraft were built which appeared as
AFA-1 Streak 85 with 854hp Continental C85-12J (NX92846)
AFA-2 Streak 125 the same aircraft re-engined with 125hp Continental C125
AFA-3 Streak 165 again same aircraft now with 165hp Franklin 6A4-165
AFA-4 Streak 225 the second aircraft (N6300C) with Lycoming O-435-2
Regards, Wout
avion ancien, very sorry but no connection with the Pilatus family.
It is a teaser, I have to agree, but when I saw this picture for the first time (only yesterday) I had to post it.
Clues: USA, late-1940s
I have to warn you all, this is a real teaser.
This is the only in-flight picture I know of this type.
Hi Ivan, welcome and good choice!
Toyo TT-10 ?
Correct John! The Streak 225 to be precise:)
You are, of course, correct on both points (PMB-78 and F-PYFO).
I just need new glasses!
This is a sleek two-seater of the late-1940s.
Will you accept the Milon-Brive PMP-78 Faucon (F-PYFD) ?
Sorry for the delay in answering.
Proficiat Al. Indeed the HKP SPK-1 built by Engle Flying Services.
Registered N65X.
This is also a one-off, but from the other side of the pond (if you live in Europe).
