Fokker F-25 Promotor in a whiskey cloud.
Sorry, no V-tail, not a T-211, but a trigeared Bo-207 as per John.
Known as the Bo-207B although I also saw it being mentioned Bo-214.
MBB/Bolkow halted development. (must have been the gear…..)
Your turn please, John.:)
This is a teaser cause it does not show the rear part.
Look at the shape of the cowling, the window arrangement, close your eyes and you know it is a……with a somewhat different undercarriage.
The one and only Oberlerchner JOB-5 (1958) from Austria
Hi John,
trust that the weather cleared up enough for your Wot Plane to take off.
John, yes it is. Over to you please
ag-plane version of the …?
MAI (Moscow Aviation Institute) Kwant (or OSKB-1-EPM Kwant) of 1977
(second of two built?)
Do we give up on John Aeroclub’s one?
Planemike, seems it is your turn for the next one.
EK764, any chance you have the registration of the Walter engined homebuilt?
Denaliflyer, you were closer than you may think. The photo depicts the sole Cessna Model 303 which first flew in February 1978. Engines were two 160hp (derated) Lycoming O-360-A1As.
Cessna decided to concentrate on a larger development and that became the Model T303 Crusader. Never found out why Cessna used the Model 303 designation again, for what was basically a new and larger and more powerful design. The sole 303 was scrapped in July 1978.
May I ask you to do the next post?
Denaliflyer is very close.
The Rockwell-Fuji aircraft you mentioned is the FA-300 or Model 700/710 of which some 39 (or 45?) were built.
The mystery plane was only a prototype, but you are very close.
Dear Denaliflyer,
I liked your story and reasons for loving the Rocket. As I mentioned I think the Rocket is one of the most beautiful light aircraft built. Unfortunetaly it came out when the market was not there and surplus aircraft could be purchased for a few dollars. AFAIK production was limited to 19 or 20 and several were built by AMC (Aircraft Manufactureing Co) which company later launched their own version as the Texas Bullet.
My photo depicts a light twin. It looks like a….., but it is not, but familiy resemblance it no coincidence. Only was was built.
Johnson Rocket (185). In my view one of the most beautiful light aircraft ever.
