Manairportmad, after having further discussions with my resident fs pilot, he says if you have tried to load it back from the disks and still got nothing then there is a good chance that the disk has become corrupt, but that’s an option to look at should total uninstall/reinstall not work.
He said can you let us know how you get on please? and hope that you manage to get it working again.
Have just spoken to my other half who is mad on fs, and here’s his suggestion….
do a total uninstall of fs, then go to ‘programe files’ delete the file named ‘microsoft games’. reboot then reinstall fs, this should put everything back as it should be.
If it don’t work, please dont shout at me 🙁 I’m only passing the message on!
Hope this is of some help

You forgot Drunk!! 😉
And dressed as a girl! :dev2:
Not mine, belongs to the other half, but, stood in sub zero temperatures on the bridge at Hatton Cross, eagerly awaiting the take off of the last BA001, only to find that the camera had suffered with the cold and the shutter froze closed on the picture and he missed seeing any of the take off and got no pictures either.
Shame cos it really was a pretty take off in the dark!
WOW, thats a bloody good photo dcfly.
Ditto!
May be interested as a present for my other half, but being a woman, and not knowing about these things (although I did fly Concorde single-handedly from the stand at LHR to the stand at JFK), can you give any details on 2006, like
will it work with all that he already has for 2004?
will it work with all the terrain he’s put on (think its VFR scenery or UK2000, not sure which he uses),
also and the most important……………
will it work with Altitude Concorde?
If yes to all this, count me in for a copy, please (and please put answers in simple terms as FS goes way over my head)
You know the they pay £15 per hour for people who work in voting centres during that day.
I always thought it was the people that normally work for the local councils that did that job.
I visited East Fortune on Saturday, I cannot praise enough the museum staff and they way they have done the Concorde Experience.
I am the Airshow Coordinator for the Save Concorde Group and this was an airshow we would have like to attend, we are disappointed that this one has been cancelled, and I fully understand the reason why, planning for airshows starts before the previous one is even finished, aircraft and pilots are booked well in advance as are the concession stands and trade stands.
I am sure that this is a decision that has not been taken lightly, one thing that I haven’t seen mentioned (unless I missed it) is the safety aspect, with the people concerned with the G8 summit, has anyone taken in to account the prospect of having all these planes fly in while so many leaders are in town? It can be seen as a potential threat with regard to terrorists.
Look at the problems generated when a political party heads for a particular place for a conference, the G8 summit surely increases problems a hundredfold.
From the staff that I spoke to on Saturday, they are disappointed, but what from what I heard the WW2 weekend is going to be bigger and better than was planned initially.
Maybe now would be a time to get off the backs of the good people at East Fortune and support them by attending the WW2 weekend, or even going to the museum to see what they have on offer………it really is a good day out.
Lets face it…..this is not their call really, they had no choice in the matter.
Ok, I’ll don my tin hat now 🙂
I’m surprised Concorde hasn’t had more of a mention, too.
That surprised me too!
There can’t be anything to beat it. You hear it and you feel it pass over you on take off, then you hear the car alarms going off.
Was on the bridge at Hatton Cross on the 23/10/03 and the last BA001 captian made it as noisy as he could on take off, it sure was the loudest I have heard, and then on the following day, your ears had just recovered from the Edingburgh take off when the Bay of Biscay flight took off!
Awesome………
F-18 Hamburger
The nick Delta didn’t come from the airline, I am a keen Concorde fan and it came from the delta shape of the wings, sorry to disappoint you 🙂
