Just finished State of Fear by Michael Crichton, and it’s now a toss up between Da Vinci Code or Digital Fortress.(both Dan Brown)

Oh and also trying to fit in reading my DSA Theory test book!

Apparently they have a vaccine for it, lets hope they use it this time, (unlike Foot and Mouth when we couldn’t use it cos we would lose our F&M free status!… scuse me 1700 cases of F&M and we are classed as F&M free???????)

The worse at the moment has to be Will Young doing Top Gun! I mean come on……

The only place Will Young should be when close to a jet plane is behind the exhaust!

Don’t know, I have the Focus cds, the ones that you can get from BSM (I bought them in Game) I’ve got the Theory, Hazard Perception and Practical ones. I also got the DSA Theory book yesterday.

Oh well, couldn’t avoid it any longer, mother in law left with the kids and we headed to the nearest industrial estate for a lesson.

I can now steer quite well, and I turn corners/bends in the road, did a couple of u-turns and didn’t hit the pedestrian, car or bus! (but the dead squirrel had nothing to do with me!)

Though I do think that maybe I am a bit heavy footed, seemed to brake a bit sharply at some points and the accelerated a bit rapidly occasionally. But I managed to reach 25mph!

When I worked at Asda I went from being a shelfstacker to a ‘merchandiser’ all without changing jobs, personally I thought the former sounded better!

I love my job, I work for myself, basically running my own business, and I know that if I don’t work, I can’t pay the mortgage. Yes I am out in all weathers, and every street I go to has it’s own Victor Meldrew, but I have the freedom to change my work to take a day off, work around the sprogs being at home, and there is no one telling me what to do when. The only thing I can’t move is that I HAVE to do my customer deliveries on a Friday evening!

Thank you everyone for the information provided, all info duly passed on to him that wanted the camera advice!

He plumped for the Nikon option with the Sigma 80-400 lens (apparently the 50-500 is discontinued), but the lens sort of jerked in the mechanism when zooming, so he took it back and got the proper Nikon lens (50-500 I think)

    He’s now a happy chappy!

All this goes way over my head, I have a little point and click Olympus Camedia which I am perfectly happy with 🙂
