    what was going on in me mind was if the yak-44 could have a hangar of its own just at the rear…also that what i meant when i said it would foulup the trapping of the aircraft… 😮 (going around for another chakkar is a NONO as this would mean irregular op )..this would mean adding another lift at the very end …widening the slot in the back to aroound 10 meters…i also have a detaled drawing of the -44 in which it seems the draughtsmen accounted for the miserly space on the VICK for the -44…so they decided to collapse the vertical radome holder too…dont have a scanner so the drawing can be viewed from the flight international mag…have to search for exat date as i viewed it in the BCL library three yrs ago
    so the addition of the lift exclusivly for the -44? is it a posibility or ….

    thankx for putting to the notice fo the others that modifications have been going on the VICK….from the pic above and the drawings the port modifications are visible
    this is the reason i feel that the another modification proposed as above by moi can be done ..after beatin that idea is bad the following are the reasons for it
    1 this increases the landing space :rolleyes:
    2 the -44 comes out ready for take off..and uses the landing space for takeoff 😎
    3 the undersides of the lift can provide space fr trailing a sonar line( :dev2: )

    the carrier on the pic u posted on 28th February 2005, 19:01 seems to be the FOCH
    also the pic shows no extreme aft /crane/ASM pod placement on the port side so thats why i feel its not the CdG

    thanks fo the heads up blackcat…cool video…however notice the aft of the carrier is still not shown…know of any pics of her rear man…also would like to know whether there was any time spent by the yak-44 on the VICK …this would give info if the yak-44 did fit into the hanger…. :diablo: thought of a wild idea :diablo: is it possible to widen the hangar on the aft section above the props..a la enterprise…i know it will interfere with the trapping of the aircraft ..but makes a suitable place to keep the aew…. 😀

    looks like a daphne class submarine…is the bow sonardamaged…and rebuilt..looks like a littoral defense sub…german hdw maybe…..also came to mind theat it almost looks like the sub used in the movie “Under Siege” :confused: 😮

    pardon me for sounding this stupid quest….could it be that the angled deck that we’r talkin about be extended on the VICK ( as on earlier posts) and modified in the same way as the kuznetsov?
    the reason for asking this is the 14 degree angle sunds similar to the deck on the KUZ? :confused:
