I listened on the web. Didn’t think it was that bad overall, although couple of parts were a bit odd. However I was taking it just as a drama/play so didn’t expect a whole bunch of interesting facts and figures.

Found my US friendly Dad’s Army collection DVD on good ole eBay. There was some chap on there with a store selling lots of Brit classics in US format. I believe you can also get it thru the BBC America website. Good luck!

Watched the whole thing! Only the BBMF part brought a tear to my eye. Wish the BBC had given it a bit more coverage. :diablo:

I’ve just got mine thru the post. Barrie was most helpful and I mailed him the monies direct and he mailed the bracelets to me here in the USA. Some of the bank fees to send/receive money were expensive so I just mailed him good old fashioned cash. They are worth the effort and it’s for an excellent cause.

Too sad, the Jaguar pictures made me wince. . . does anyone know what happened to the Dakota that used to reside at Ipswich Aerodrome?

Gun control does depend on your state. While in Georgia, a neighbour of mine called ‘snake’ and three pickup drivers stopped and within five minutes turned said snake into a string vest. Here in Virginia on of my neighbours picks up her shotgun to tell two delinquents to leave her property (no pointing of weapon) – guess who finishes up in court????

The Few by Alex Kershaw. Excellent read about the first Americans serving in the RAF during WWII.
