Duly signed, thanks Moggy for bringing this to our attention.

Thanks, I’m actually in Suffolk until the 31st, going through all of the stuff.
I can definately catalogue the books/magazines – the auction idea really appeals to us both.
Obviously I don’t have a huge amount of time – would anyone be willing to help????? 😮
Thank you!
Thanks Pagen01 & Newforest – I’ve PM him. 😀
Wishful Thinking
I’d take a Hawker Hind and a Hawker Hurricane.
Then I’d learn to fly. . . . .
Thanks for posting this. It should help keep my two occupied for a few hours and hopefully help pack them off to bed!
Seasons greetings!
Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy 2008 to you all. 😀
I’ll second that – Seasons greetings to one and all.
Excellent pictures. Makes me want to come back & visit!
Wonderful! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
I confess to making several over the years, many happy memories! I even have a A-10 untouched in it’s box that I’ll get around to making . . . . one day . . . . .
Hi,
My Dad served for six years, during WWII, in Ceylon as a Wireless Operator. I’ll get with him to see what dates he was over there and if he has anything to share, although it maybe a bit early for your site.

Time certainly does fly. Very sorely missed.
RIP
Jane
Count me in. 😀
Thanks for the pictures. I’ll admit to a few tears – still cannot quite believe that it all came together. Wish I’d been able to be there – it must have been a fantastic time – bet the atmosphere was electric.
Huge kudos to all concerned – long may she fly!
I too have fond memories of flying in a Chippie as a young Air Cadet. I was given the option (as I believe we all were) of taking control or doing aerobatics. Of course I wanted to fly by myself and even tried to slip in a roll! Once we’d landed I’d completely forgotten how to undo the harness in my excitement!
I also have great memories of Nigel Brendish doing aerobatics in his G-IDDY at Ipswich Airport way back in the day! As a mesmorized teenager, I even converted an Airfix kit Chippie to look like Mighty Munk! It was good to see that plane again – thanks for the pictures.
Thanks for the thread and the memories! 😀
