Nope. Not those ones. One of the very first pics that was shown to the West back in the 80s, not the ones that touch down to Finland. It was just one Fulcrum with its armament and the centerline tank…
Now I’m looking for the least known or one of the first pics of the original MiG-29 (by saab viggen?!) in the 1980s. Been looking for it on google but can’t find it. Coded ’10’ or ’01’. That picture always will never get old to me…
Thanks a bunch, guys!!! Awesome pics!!!
Thanks for the threads. Here’s also one of my faves below. Had to shrink the image cuz of my limited pics attachment I am with this site…
Remember, That Antei didn’t didn’t have to take of again from that airport, it was to be a permanent exhibit at a museum there – I’m not sure it could have?
Impressive sound all right, though – same as a Bear bomber I guess…
Now I remember while living at Qikiqtarjuaq, NU, and their airstrip is like just under 4,000 ft. gravel, a few times a Hercules and an Aurora from the CAF did land there before. Guess all transports do land in short runways, that is, if they’re not heavily loaded…
MAAKUSIMI.
Okay, I know this thread has to do with the A400M, which is a modern transport plane. But after watching this clip (URL Below) of An-22 short landing, I wonder if the A400 can do the same, too…
From Iqaluit to Qikiqtarjuaq, it’s about 80-90 minutes flight non-stop. That is, if it doesn’t stopover first to Pangnirtung. I don’t know whether the airlines stopover first to Pang, anymore, last time I flew up there was almost 4 years ago…
MAAKUSIMI.
What I don’t get is that when the Security in Iqaluit smelled alcohol from the pilot, the plane was still able to take-off to Qikiqtarjuaq…

First Air sues DND over Resolute crash…

I concur. This thing is similar to GAU-8/A Avenger with short bursts.

-And there’s also a very good scene A-10 short bursts with its cannon from the movie IMAX, Fighter Pilot.

Okay, here is the Bort ’27 Blue’ prototype. Seems like the Flanker went through such an expensive redesign until they Sukhoi Bureau were satisfied…
I can’t agree……….. the T10 is not as graceful or ‘integrated’ as the redesigned T10S………
The fins are too close together, the nosewheels retracts rearwards etc etc….
Ken
I was watching the movie last night on my hard drive and noticed the prototype, coded ’27,’ probably the redesigned T-10. One thing I noticed was its nose was small and canted more downwards or drooped more like the western radar shaped noses. I couldn’t tell if it had a radar or not, since I don’t speak Russian.
The tails were more outwards and straight and flying along early operational Flankers, too. I will get watch the movie again to ‘snap’ those pics from the movie. Just how many prototypes were there?!
