I’ve always found them both helpful and prompt with their replies. They also have some utilities on their web site which might help with installing their products into FS2004.
I think someone has already mentioned updating the drivers on your video card; for me this has been one of the things that has solved a variety of FS-related problems.
Why not try Just Flight’s Airliner Pilot?
All the fun of a VA without the agro of some of the silly rules that I see on some VAs.
I’m not saying they’re all like that, mind you!
There’s a few VAs to choose from here:

I think you might find this page useful:

If you’re feeling a little adventurous, you can use an excellent little utility called EditVoicePack (it’s free) to add more ATC call-signs, including your own.
To find out more, head to the EVP web site here:

I hope this is of use. If personal recommendations are required, I have it and have found it easy to use.
Hello Stieglitz,
I agree about Alpha and some of their forthcoming releases look realy good.
Recent models like the Phantom and the Sea King have been good, too.
I’m a real AlphaSim fan, myself but you have to be aware of their modus operandi. They don’t set out to create highly detailed, top notch add-ons with ultra-detailed panels; what you get it reasonably priced and usually pretty frame rate friendly.
Aerosoft are also doing a Catalina, by the way.
I’m sure I’ll have both … and for different reasons.
I’ve got it and it’s much better than a VA in my opinion:
– no need to fly when other people say you have to; you decide when and how often
– you can decide your own colour scheme
– lots of flexibility as regards types to fly and routes
– plus many of the things you can do on a VA as well
Just my opinion but I reckon it’s an excellent add-on.
Best of all (for me) is that you don’t get embroiled in some of those petty disputes that make some VAs (in my experience) an utter pain in the bum.
There’s a guy doing AI Sea Kings here:

Ah, Popham, yes, I remember that.
Turned up and stayed until midday but then decided to leave because the weather looked like this (see below).
Shortly after, it cleared and a whole pile of aircraft arrived!
Now that’s what you call luck … I called it something else but I think if repeated here there would be a lot of these: *****
It’s Dragon Rapide G-ACZE, which makes the shot post 1984 as it was registered in 1/85. In my experience these machines didn’t often travel too far from home (Chalmington Manor in Dorset) and the hangars look typical RAF so my guess is Abingdon??
I think it was Fairford 1989. XT604 was in the static, as was a Portugese Puma – see here:

Try here:

there are a few more ideas.
I think something like this happened at Boscombe Down …
There’s some handy hints about creating AI aircraft here:
