Airliners are very vunerable of course but can’t airliner companies attache flare or chaff dispensers on their airliners? The IAI airliner was lucky to escape but some other planes they were not that lucky, like the plane that was shot down over the Italy or something. Did it actually got shot down? I can’t remember, anyway the US blaimed Lybia and Lybia blaimed the US as armed jets of both nations were in the air at the time it possibly got shot down.
