I guess China doesn’t have to waste a DF-26 on a carrier full of F-35s. They would only be out on the oceans for PR purposes and those in denial to make themselves feel like badasses. No threat.

I see the same trolls still live in this forum after years. I love reading the little girls gossiping in here. Just because they all agree, what they say is true? Collective ignorance doesn’t add up to intelligence. I’m especially entertained by the ones that waste a lot of time drawing lines to conclusions they already made first. It’s called “Get a Life!” I especially love the gloating over an Su-35 deal that hasn’t happened in years of claiming it was a done deal. Still arguing about it after all this time? The denial is very entertaining. The F-35 is a piece a crap confirmed by a F-35 pilot. Maybe you guys pass on those dozens of stories when they appear on how it’ll go down as the biggest waste of money in the history of humankind. Yes ignorance is bliss and it breeds a lot of delusion. I remember when you guys were desperate from being wrong that China could never develop a stealth fighter, you then when the J-20 prototype first flew, you guys were arguing that the landing gear was fixed and couldn’t retract. You guys will say anything at the moment knowing you’ll be wrong just to make yourself feel good.

Interesting how some waste time that much on something that’s basically wrong given how much information is out there that says otherwise. Is the guy that charged the 052C was photoshopped and doesn’t exist still a member here?

This Iraq thing is stressing the West out greatly as they see trying to take over the world oil supply in the Iraq War has come back to haunt them. Hey if it didn’t bother the US, why are they sending “advisors” in to help? Who to root for? ISIS, a terrorist organization that Al Qaeda sees as too extreme for them or the Iran backed Shiites. Looks like FUBAR for the US either way.

The Japanese must be snapping gums then because they seem to be waiting for the US to do something.

Yeah the Japanese aren’t hateful towards anyone…

The trolls are out early tonight.
Who said anything about the CIA?

There are anti-government groups in China who have done various recent attacks…like the one at the railway station.
I was just asking..as others had asked… if one of those had been involved.

I don’t assume any anti-Chinese government group is pro-US, anyone with an once of sense knows nothing is that simple in that part of the world.
The US doesn’t want China doing business with Iran because of if its nuclear program. Hardly rocket science to figure that out. But then again, you might be okay with Iran nuking Israel.

As far as your anti-Boeing/US/West (you’ve got to watch out for those tricky Aussies…:) ) tirade..it speaks for itself.

I knew you would be a hypocrite and a bit touchy. I just gave you more plausible conspiracies. Are you going to deny GM covered-up a defect allowing people to die? Not much of a stretch that there could be a cover-up here. You still haven’t explained your dissident theory? Yeah the “dissidents” you’re referring to have been relegated to knife attacks. Not very sophisticated. They would need help in order to fly a 777. And who would provide that help? The CIA… People who call terrorists “dissidents” are just the terrorists they like. Just like how Saddam the brutal dictator wasn’t called a brutal dictator when he was an ally of the West.

Also because you were so enraged by my post you completely missed the part where I said it was a more plausible conspiracy theory than your far fetch fantasy that you hope were true. I didn’t say my example was true. Just more plausible than your nonsense.

I didn’t know the 777 fuselage was composite.
Still, I bet the authorities and or Boeing know how it would react. I’d have to imagine some sort of computer modeling was done at some point in the 777s development.

Also, we haven’t heard much of the Chinese dissident theory since China said it checked out all its people on the flight.
At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy nut, I’m really not sure China would readily admit to a large or well-organized group that could carry out an “event” like this.

What Chinese dissident theory? That’s way out of left field. A Chinese dissident that’s pro US because we all know any Chinese citizen who speaks out against their government is automatically a friend of the US? Therefore did they get training from the CIA to commit this crime?

I can think of a lot more plausible conspiracy theories than that one. After all it is a Boeing aircraft. All the information from and about the aircraft’s systems are from the US. Got to cover-up any flaws. Look at the all the 787 problems. Can’t have the 777 get a bad reputation. Look at GM’s cover-up that killed a dozen drivers of their cars. The plane was full of non-Americans so why not send out disinformation like it was terrorists. They tried blaming it on Iran at first because of the fake passports. Interesting also how the US has been trying to stop China from doing business with Iran. Why not where the US shot down the aircraft and then blame it on Iran just to get China angry at Iran? The reason why they say the aircraft crashed in probably the worst part of the world because of rough seas is to get people to believe it can’t be found and not bother to look while the real crash site is somewhere else maybe even on land where the wreckage is being gathered and melted down and the bodies cremated so there’s no trace. After all where the flight went missing is surrounded by US friendly countries.

It’s really easy to think up anything from nothing. But mine is vastly more plausible than yours because why would a Chinese dissident bother to make Chinese dissidents look bad by killing a lot of innocent people and using a non-Chinese aircraft.

Think of every step a PAKFA or J-20 has to take from engine start until missile launch/update and you will discover weaknesses which allow you to track it.

Yeah and think of everything said wrong of the F-35 and it won’t especially if half of them will always be on the ground for maintenance problems.

Wow, 60 minutes piece was fair, balanced, and actually quite good! Kudos! I think I even sensed a bit of optimism on the part of the military and DoD. Somehow I don’t think the Pentagon and LM are going to be sitting around a campfire, roasting marshmallows and singing Kumbayah any time soon, though.

After their PR puff piece promoting the NSA, you can tell they were going to do the same here but after the criticism they had to change it by daring to bring up questions.

In a Global Economy China is in a very weak position Militarily. Nor, does it have any worthwhile Allies to support it in times of Conflict or War. Which, make China’s current course perplexing……….(i.e. disputes with Neighboring Countries)

You mean like how Iraq and Afghanistan was militarily weak? What those countries don’t have that China does is China can destroy you economically. Really, if the US and its allies were in such a superior position over China, why haven’t they done anything to gang up against China? Sounds like China does have something over you. You also forget the US can’t take casualties. That tends to happen with countries that think their lives are more important. Because when it comes down to it you can think you’re superior all you want but the same things that kill your enemy kill you too. That’s why Americans suffered through the Vietnam Syndrome for so long even though only tens of thousand of Americans died compared to the millions Vietnam lost.

LOL! I was just about to ask whether the changes involved getting rid of the air brake & ventral fins – I guess the first part of that question is moot 😉

You do know that’s the 2001 repainted?

Like China’s position hasn’t gotten stronger? China use to be Russia’s number one arms customer. Now it’s not by a large margin. If Russia didn’t have China to sell energy, do you think they would be able to strong arm Europe over their energy needs? Russia is not even China’s number one energy supplier. And what about why Russia is so desperate to sell Su-35s to China? Maybe because the Russian arms industry needs the money? If Russia had advantage over China, they wouldn’t need to sell anything to China. It’s like how Americans thinks just not having trade with China will make China collapse. If that were the case why haven’t they even tried it since apparently they think no harm will come to the United States with such an action.
