Tell that to the Europeans backs in the late 1800s who saw all their stuff stolen from Americans left and right.

The US had more money and a large head start? The big lie that’s not being spoken here is the veiled racism that whites don’t need anyone else which is why Congress thought they could pass a law banning anyone of Chinese descent. It is true because you still have scientists and engineers of Chinese descent working at US labs. It wasn’t some liberal democrat civil rights lawsuit that got them back. Remember Bill Clinton was President then. It’s because they played an important role in the labs that couldn’t be replaced. If the US didn’t need them, then they wouldn’t had to have backtracked on the law banning anyone of Chinese descent. You do know one of the founders of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory was Chinese? Yeah the McCarthy communist witch hunts had him deported back to China. And he’s the one that thought up the space shuttle idea. It’s just like professors at universities who take credit for some big discovery but it was their students that did all the work. Or how about the building of the railroads. You don’t see Chinese being given any credit yet they built the most perilous part. Same mentality at work.

You remember the Wen Ho Lee scandal at the Los Alamos labs. Congress immediately passed a law banning anyone of Chinese descent form working at US government labs and R&D facilities. Then they had to cancel it days after. You know why? Because scientists and engineers that were of Chinese descent were playing an important role for the US but the dummies in Congress believed the propaganda until those that knew had to tell them the truth. Replacing them wasn’t an option so who’s the one leading who?

The Chinese usually do things in a rush so I do expect early entry of J-20/31 with stealth shaping with low quality 4-4,5gen Avionics.
-Rafale, better flight performance, availability and avionics but inferior shape/stealth

I just read an article about how long it took for China to study and refurbish the Varyag. Or how about the comparisons of the J-20’s development to the T-50. People were saying how China should’ve had 4 or 5 J-20s out by now. Or why does China conduct a manned mission into space every three years? Is that being hasty? I bet now the spin will be China is taking too long because of technical difficulties. Too fast… too slow… same conclusion.

Funny thing is how can any of you judge when one of you recently asked if the J-20 had side bays? If people don’t know basic information that is out there, how can you really know anything to judge. How apropos since people who choose to be ignorant don’t know that the J-31 is out of the competition for China’s carrier stealth fighters. Draw your own basic conclusion… they have something better ahead.

I see the theme is everyone is a chicken hawk. Every scenario given in here involves getting someone else taking on China. Japanese pre-emptive strikes? Is that suppose to be bad news for China? Japan starts the war, China wins. China will be able to do anything it wants against Japan and any of its supporters in the name of self-defense. Pretty stupid if the story of pre-emptive strikes is meant to send fear just like a terrorist.

When dealing with narcissists, they cannot see anything from someone else’s perspective. This video caused a buzz in South Korea. To a narcissist, this is not a problem simply because it’s coming from the side they support. The wrong is not by what’s said but only who’s says it.

the Germans may have lost WW2, but they rule Europe today.
the 4th reich realized an army of bankers is more fearsome than an army of storm troopers

Oh yeah, that’s what they had planned from the beginning. So why did they bother with Hitler when they could’ve went straight with bankers…

westerner always want asian to fight each other.
natural way and historical way was that all asian country get along under chinese umbrella. less conflict, more peace.

Well Obama thought he could focus this only about China. And what do you get playing with the general nationalism in the region is the Filipino Coast Guard firing upon and killing an unarmed Taiwanese fisherman over territorial disputes. Obama didn’t see that coming and nationalism between Taiwan and the Philippines exploded which shows how easily any alliance can sink. Look at how only recently there was supposed to be a trilateral alliance of the US, Japan, and South Korea and that sunk with Japanese nationalism rearing its ugly head.

All this talk about Japan vs. China says the US can’t stomach a war with China themselves even with allies backing them. Meaning Japan would never bother regardless how superior their navy is over China’s. The fact is the US and Japan have more to lose, literally and figuratively. During the US’s Iraq and Afghanistan involvement, “experts” said China was going to invade Taiwan while the US was pre-occupied. Did that ever happen? And remember Iraq and Afghanistan were going to be a cinch for the US too? Someday some wikileaks type of info is going to come out that Obama engineered these tensions in the Far East so he can make his pivot towards Asia more acceptable in the region. Obama thought a gangbang was going to make China yield under pressure and his ignorance on world affairs just made it worse. That’s why the prime minister of Singapore recently pleaded for the US not to waver from the “pivot.” Why would he waver if this was forced upon by China? You only waver because it was planned from the beginning and it’s turning out not as planned.

And here’s the response. It’s funny how when the Japanese made new Godzilla movies, they had depicted Godzilla stomping on US soldiers during WWII saving some Japanese soldiers. I remember reading about Americans complaining about that. What’s that saying about throwing stones from glass houses…

Are you the same guy that kept on arguing that the J-31 under the tarp was a trainer?

The J-20 bay cannot fit a CM-400AKG. And that dummy missile doesn’t look like a CM-400AKG. It doesn’t have the same fins. Use your own logic why they aren’t PL-12s or PL-15s. The fact is you don’t know what they are.

Can I get a credible source for this?

I saw it on the news during the Gulf War when there was controversy over Kuwaitis partying in Europe and not fighting their war to liberate Kuwait.

Here’s the first reference I found. It’s six paragraphs from the bottom.

    http://www.chomsky.info/articles/199102–02.htm

A high Gulf official quoted in the Wall Street Journal sees no reason for his son to “die for Kuwait.” “We have our white slaves from America to do that,” he explains with a “chuckle” — not having looked too closely at the skin color of his mercenaries, and forgetting momentarily that those who have the guns will call the shots, if he forgets his responsibilities.

Sorry to tell you guys thinking China will end up like the Soviet Union. China isn’t looking to match someone eye to eye which the Soviet Union was doing with the US. It’s everyone else alarmed at what China is doing. Plus all the neighbor’s of China in question are economically tied to China. Japan was economically hurt more than China when trade plummeted over souring relations. And to make it hurt more, Japan’s Western allies reaped the profits from Chinese not buying Japanese. Not at all the same as the arms race between the US and the Soviet Union. So what’s going to happen is the neighbors against China will either go bankrupt buying the most expensive weapons in the world from the US and Europe or the US will go bankrupt having to give it to them. Plus also if you didn’t notice China’s neighbors want the US to go to war with China not themselves on the front lines. The US can’t afford a war with China. What makes do you think the neighbors around China have that the US doesn’t? Maybe because you can convince them to do all the fighting for you? That’s what they’ve been waiting for you to do for them. You know just like when Kuwaitis referred to American soldiers freeing their country from Saddam for them as their slaves while they were partying in nightclubs in Europe.

Actually the US is fueling an arms race. Who do you think is going to make all the money selling arms? Obama is outsourcing everything because the US can’t get involved in another war especially with someone that can nuke the US. So he can have his war but someone else is going to fight it and the US will be supplying the arms for them. And in the end China will win because the other side will be buying expensive weapons they don’t make themselves that will eventually bankrupt them.

Why didn’t PLA-AF induct JF-17? It must be superb on paper only. 😀

Unlike the LCA, right? How long now? The same can be said of why India needs Rafales if the MKI is so great.

Yup Indians are shivering already. 😉

Good ole Chuck Yeager was counting PAF crashes vs. IAF crashes at the time he made the comment.
