Evening all just a quick word of caution the Whitley seat mentioned earlier appears identical to a Airspeed Oxford pilots seat when compared to the image in the illustrated spare parts schedule (original copy) i have. If anyone is interested i’m happy to post the image so you can compare for yourselves.

Afternoon all i was wondering if anyone might have any chain as used on the Airspeed Oxford on the control columns.
Alternatively a copy of the specification or source of said chain would be appreciated.
Many thanks Yeti

Here’s another one for you. A relative of mine insists that many years ago he saw what he described as a bolt-on bombbay pack for concorde in a hanger at Yeovilton.
There is supposed to be a fuselage (DH Dove?) buried at the end of the runway at Farnborough. The way i heard the story, it was used to reinforce the bank of the Basingstoke canal during work to repair a breach where it runs past the end of the runway. Anyone have anymore info?
Any updates?
