Maybe not an A330 extra on top of the projected MRTT’s?

    Wouldn’t a BBJ2 suffice?

I’d prefer a civil based project, but it doesn’t have to be no.

    – 1 in 2 people was a copper
    – A police helicopter spent the afternoon flying in circles, is this normal, and if so a humungous waste of police resources and tax payers money.

All I can say is the UK public would soon complain about the lack of anti-terorrism measures.

The word “visual deterrant” springs to mind.

    I think the South is bizzare…because I’m a notherner 😀

    Nice photos Adam.

What are you doing at L`boro?

Sometimes 2 aircraft will be on the same runway at the same time, probably due to their weights – i.e. if one is “light”, then it can use less runway and so can use a shortened length. I see it fairly often at Gatwick, when most of Flybe’s aircraft don’t use the full length

A little more commonly found at smaller airfields with lighter traffic. Certainly interesting to see who aircraft of the same type doing it. Good traffic management to sneak off say, a FlyBe Dash 8 infront of a heavy.

When I was on one of my flying lessons with Atlantic Flight Training, I was on the runway with 2 other aircraft. Me first in the Reims 152, then a Pa28, then a Pa-44. Nice way of doing it but of course it takes a great deal of co-ordination!

No red Cathay planes. Could it have been Malaysia? They have a special livery that is predominantely red.

    tada!

If I remember rightly it was discussed on here that turboprops do still go into Heathrow from time to time?

Biplane into Heathrow? About as doubtful as doubtful comes to be honest!

    A great tournament…

However I wish to raise a point:

Whilst Ref’s can’t be blamed that much, the new FIFA “directives” are making a mockery of the sport.

I’ve seen less Cards at Christmas.

Doesn’t it look lovely, I guess its the same for any of the US major carriers. I must say Northwest’s 330’s look fantastic in photos, yet to see one for myself.

Sounds a little bit extreme sadly exmpa but great suggestion. I have little programming knowledge and to get anything to degree standard within 6 months I think is asking alot.

Ok thanks for that, so its a silly idea. Back to the drawing board! I need something that I can effectively research-analyse-design-test-analyse-conclude based on an aeronautical engineering subject.
