Is it working these days after it’s 50 or so patches?
For those complaining about the entry/exit for the Cosford airshow. If it really means that much to you may I suggest you turn your aviation enthusiasm into the Air Training Corps. Our squadron were in the gates and parked next to 633 VGS. For those not in the know, it’s the portacabins and temporary hanger on the right from where you went in.
Unfortunately our sprogs (having had to do such exciting duties as litter picking etc…strange considering the number of regs on base!) were tired so I missed the Royal Air Forces “display.”
The weather had a massive issue on things yet I took great joy in watching the likes of the Spitfire and Hurricane (ok the Lanc wasn’t there, but the only person I knew disappointed was one of my cadets who loves the aeroplane!), the Sea Fury was a great joy to behold and what the 3 forces can do with their helicopters is simply stunning.
The show was there to be enjoyed, and enjoy I bloody did. A large number of my cadets enjoyed it as well. Unfortunately due to a few tired souls we had to do the right thing for our squadron and pull out early. A disappointment in my mind but as staff things had to be done.
Ok so I look like I had it easy just driving through the gates in a minibus with an RAF 1250 holder, however last year I drove myself due to work commitments and went on the said detour around Shropshire that took somewhat a long time. The answer however was to crain my neck at the sounds of any aircraft engine and to listen to a decent bit of radio and keep smiling :D.
I noticed queues on the way out, so what did I do? I went for one pint, another overpriced burger and watched departing aircraft. After all my eyes are glued to the sky, I was there to enjoy myself in 2006 and enjoy I bloody did!
What version are you using? I did order Airline 6 when I think it was at the 6.2 stage, 51 patches later the reports were it still wasn’t working?

More of a case of more momentum at the front due to the fuselage being so long!!!
Ren’s got it right, create a new first class section at the back, especially for those “larger than life.”
I’ve never seen the viewing park that busy!
I’m still confused by the jumper wearers  . I can’t wait to move back to the North-West so that Manchester is my local again, saying that I haven’t exactly been to Birmingham very often.
Unfortunately I have to be in London to play hockey, otherwise I would have definately been up there. Saw it today in the sunshine and it looks very impressive!
I was told that he is rated to fly the aircraft, however due to insurance isn’t able to operate as captain and had employed an ex Boeing test/check pilot to fly the aeroplane as well?
I have a couple of good ones from today from the viewing park around about 1.30pm. The sun was just in the right place as the aircraft turned off.
Awesome shots, some day I will take them like that. What size lens were those taken with may I ask?
Well if it was fake, for those that are interested I’ve managed to aquire images of the Delta Airlines “model” that was probably posted. I did have a quick word with a Delta employee that believes that this is the proposed livery stuck on a model but ho hum, come the release date we’ll see! :

Flying on FS for Delta Virtual Airlines does have it’s uses!!!
Not sure what’s wrong with their current livery in all honesty! Saw it again today at Manchester, clean, simple, stylish!
That haze was an absaloute nightmare today for me at least (lost alot of the photography knowledge I once picked up!)
I was there from about 1215-2pm. Left just after my dads BA flight to LHR went (757).
I was absaloutely shocked by the large number of people wearing coats and/or fleeces/jumpers!
Faro isn’t nice when you’re stuck there for 5 hours without able to get through to the gates to see the planes. At least they sell Airliner World in their magazine shop!
I’d also like to put forward Corfu!!! Though this was a few years ago.
Similarly a few years ago when I went to Faro I got to see all the planes, though I was jump seating on a round-trip 😉
Daytona Beach (DAB) is fairly dull too…unless you like watching Emberry Riddle students flying around?
FSX is pretty much a frame-rate killer anyway. I struggle to get 20 on medium high settings with the D820, 1 gig ram and 7600GS.
Turns out I do remember something from the PPL groundschool 😀
I wonder why I’ve never spied this thread before. I did an A-Level in photography (after failing Maths 😉 ) Let things slip recently but occasionally take the camera out. I use a Canon EOS350D, though some of these were taken with a fuji finepix S5000, and some with a 40 quid digital camera!

Sorry they are all random sizes, the photobucket of old got to them!
