Agreed, my eyesight is fairly good and i struggle!
How have you managed that one?
That AN-72 is a pain in the ****,, I had my first ever go-around courtesy of that!
Flew Frankfurt-Toronto on an A330 and quite frankly it was sub-standard comapred to the usual shiny features with IFE etc. Didn’t evne have tv’s in the seat backs!
What happened to Buzz? I remember seeing several of their 146’s (very colorful birds!) at Gatwick or Charles De Gaulle (can’t remember which) back in the summer of 2001.
Buzz were swallowed up by the evil empire of Ryanair!
I would definately want to grace you all with my presence at a Manchester meettup and could possibly provide transport provided it’s not a weekend? (daddy will want his shiny new Seat Leon to go to antique fairs and the like.
Europe? Possibly able to pop by when I’m on my mini rail tour round going whereever the wind takes me.
This all of course as long as bird flu doesn’t get you first 😉
You’d of thought they could of made the titles a bit bigger though?
Yeah, I’ve only just found where they are. 😀
It was put on rushed job and is only a temp paintscheme so I guess some corners can be cut!
I still can’t find where the airline name is 🙁
No not at all! We were just imaginative and adventerous with our locations!
Joe
By being adventerous however, do you pick up any kind of security attention?
Maybe we are looking at it for the future tanker role…it was offered! 😉
Where does it say Singapore? I cant see it!!! 😀
Interesting that they cut short the phoenetic letters.
Also, for such a busy airport they are so more relaxed, dont seem to have any structure behind what they say!
Regardless of making a mistake with the readback, could it not be language barriers? I would have put a rather angry complaint in about that kind of attitude!
Saying that though when I had my flight deck trip once upon a time (when Air 2000 was still a name in date ;)) The Spanish ATC were atrocious!
It could have done really really well had it been marketed better. Someone like Qantaslink liked it.
Would it have ever had a future in the low-cost market?
Does this mean they might need new pilots?
Especially young aspiring pilots currently studying at Coventry University 😀
CRJ now kids lets get our air recce right ;).
Tis a bit maff, I wonder what Ansett would have said (if they were still aboot)
