Elgan you would have thought living in wales that the -7 would make you smile as supposed to looking like you’d just been slapped with a wet (frozen perhaps?) fish 😮

A decent solid surface, in theory most up to a medium sized airliner could quite easily deal with a grass surface!

I didn’t find much of a difference between the 747 (which I flew on the HK-SIN leg) and the 777.

View of the ocean? When departing from Singapore for Manchester we flew over Malaysia during an electric storm which was amazing!

Dunno about exact, but in Economy I can safely say that it’s actually quite comfortable for Hong Kong-Singapore-Manchester.

Excellent service, really top notch, video on demand and all that. Really great 😀

Roasted duck and oil fried noodles for breakfast at 36,000 feet. Only thing that would have made it better is if it was being served to me in the flight deck

Singapore has just built a dedicated low cost terminal, you may want to do some research into that and the associated low cost boom that Asia has experienced.

Sadly I have little opinion, only studied the rise of EU based airlines, and Southwest in the US!

So is that better than the 747? Or is there not really much difference?

    of course it’s better than a 747…

Is there any pattern as such to where the 319’s are being based? It’s just I was flying from Liverpool and was hoping so much for an A319 and sadly on the return to john lennon scouser-land international had a 737NG.

Didn;t complain on the way out, I (think) I was on G-IGOE!

    Absolutely.

Exercise 14, the one that can never be repeated no matter how many hours you fly.

    29th June 1988. PA38 G-BKCY, Wellesbourne Mountford, 1830 – 1850z 🙂

Whats more worrying is, my first solo in that motor glider, was the best landing I’ve made to date. Which despite my lack of hours is still concerning considering I’ve had 6 hours in a C152 at EGBE, which certainly has a longer, wider and better surfaced deck than RAF Ternhill!
