    Drifts to the left erm, could this be something to do with your fuel load?

    Poorly filled tanks (that are uneven) in the wings will cause forces to roll your aircraft.

    Last time I went to Farnborough I was with my dad. We booked into the Ibis just behind Euston station (as we were coming down the west coast mainline), went for a meal then hit the airshow in the morning. Travelled straight back home from Farnborough. If I remember rightly there are busses all day long from the railway station?

    While we are on th subject of long haul Aer Lingus have announced that they are taking delivery of 4 new A330s the first to arrive at the end of this year.

    I take it then Aer Lingus’ general financial situation is doing alot better than it was then if they are after some shiny new A330’s!

    For the time being the sonic cruiser was a very very daft concept for the current market and Boeing were very wise to cancel the project.

    With the projected lack of interest, Airbus would have made them look very very silly.

    Fireflash was a nuclear powered aircraft if I remember rightly?

    The were two Saudi’s? Sadly I embarerssed myself upon seeing the tail of one (I was on a train to New Street for a hockey match) by clambering across a seat rather quickly to see what I could see!
